David and Pam Threlkeld of Williamstown would like to announce the birth of their son Robert Harrington Threlkeld was born at 6:18 p.m. on Oct. 19, 2011, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. He weighed 8 pounds 12.4 ounces and was 21 inches long.

His paternal grandparents are William and Helen Threlkeld of Williamstown.

His maternal grandparents are David and Linda Taylor of Cynthiana. He was welcomed home by his two puppies, Spike and Miley.
 

For several years, Sam Lapin knew that the administrative assistant at the Northern Kentucky University - Grant County Center was hard working and dedicated.

That prompted Lapin, a faculty member, to nominate Connie Lawrence for NKU’s annual awards program.
Now the rest of the employees know how good she is at her job after she was named one of the school’s outstanding office/clerical staff as part of the 2012 Regents Distinguished Service Awards program.
Lapin hired Lawrence in 1998 as secretary for the NKU-Grant County Center.

Michael and Lisa Henry of Williamstown would like to announce the birth of their third child. Tyler Dean Henry was born at 11:22 p.m. on Sept. 24, 2011 at  St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.

He weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Charles and Margaret Alexander of Concord.

His paternal grandparents are Garry and Patsy Henry of Corinth. Tyler was welcomed home by family and friends.

The Williamstown Alumni Banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at the Williamstown High School gymnasium. Social Hour and registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. The annual alumni banquet is for all graduates of the Williamstown High School and the classes of 1932, 1937, 1942, 1952, 1962, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002 and the class of 2012 graduates will be honored.
