AARP Tax-aide is offering free income tax preparation, including e-filing at the Williamstown Senior Center (in the City Building). Appointments are not necessary and clients will be seen on a first come, first serve basis from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from Feb 5 through April 16. Please arrive no later than noon.
This service is available to all tax payers with low to middle income, with special attention to those age 60 and older. Please bring the following items to your appointment:
There will be a Healthy Baby Workshop from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 25 at Care Net, 305 N. Main Street, Williamstown. Workshop activities will provide information about having a healthy baby, including how to kick an unhealthy habit while you are pregnant and learning other ways to have a healthier pregnancy.
All women completing one workshop will receive a gift pack with helpful information and baby items. Door prizes will be given and pizza, drinks and dessert will be provided.
