Five Grant County students received degrees from Eastern Kentucky University at the end of the spring semester. More than 2,200 graduates and degree candidates were honored at the 90th spring commencement, Local EKU graduates include: Carla Y. Arnold, Angela Cummins, Todd Davis, Timothy Dungan and Shelley Spencer.

The Williamstown Kiwanis Club will be sponsoring the Spectacular Magic Show at the Williamstown High School Gym at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 19.
Comedy magician Roger Wayne from Cynthiana, combines comedy with his skillful antics of magic. He has been performing since he was a teenager, has worked as a professional magician for over 30 years.
Also appearing is illusionist Dinky Gowen. He became interested in magic at the age of 5 and at the age of 11 he did his first magic performance. He combines comedy, ventriloquism and mind blowing illusions.
The Crittenden Alumni Association will be having their annual banquet with social hour beginning at 3 p.m. and banquet beginning at 4 p.m. on May 19 at Crittenden Baptist Church.
