Would-be pill thief nabbed

A Crittenden man was arrested after police say he attempted to rob a pharmacy.
Leslie D. Collins, 44, of Crittenden was charged with attempted robbery after police say he walked into the Total Care Pharmacy in Crittenden at 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 16 and gave a note to a clerk demanding pills.
Instead of giving him pills, the clerk called police and Collins ran from the store. Employees were able to get his license plate number.
Sgt. Brian Maines of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted KSP by locating the vehicle a short time later.
