Kensley Foster is the WES Headstart Student of the Week. She is in Julia Webb’s class.
Her favorite thing about school is playing, dancing and singing. “Kensley comes to school every morning with a smile on her face eager to be here. She always participates at circle time and is very kind and helpful to her friends. Kensley is a student that makes my job very enjoyable and fulfilling,” Webb said.
Her favorite thing to do as a family is read and play.
Abigail Mullins the WES primary Student of the Week. She is in Amanda Morris’s first grade class.
Her favorite thing about school is reading and math. “Abigail is such a sweet and kind student. She is a great listener and very respectful to others. Abigail is beginning to show a love for reading and is excited to read challenging books. It is a joy to see her becoming such a wonderful reader,” Morris said.
Her favorite book is ‘Going To the Rain Forest.’ Her favorite thing to do as a family is playing at the park.
Marcus Schultz is the WES Intermediate Student of the Week. He is in Marcia Walter’s fifth grade class. His favorite thing about school is Social Studies or P.E. “He is always prepared for tests, and reads independently with great enthusiasm. He works hard to be polite, and has a friendly smile every day. I am very proud of how much he has matured this year.” His favorite book is Chasing Lincoln’s Killer.
His favorite thing to do as a family is hunt, play Wii, read and play with his puppy.
