Frankfort - As Kentucky’s May 22 primary election nears, the state’s voters are being encouraged to use the state Board of Elections’ www.elect.ky.gov website as a resource for voting. For example, the website can tell voters their polling place and the races in which they are eligible to vote.
The Voter Information Center on the state Board of Elections’ website contains information regarding voters’ party registration, eligibility to vote in partisan primaries, polling locations and driving directions from registered addresses to polling locations, according to a press release from Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes’ office.
Sample ballots are also available online.
Voters can find information about individual candidates who filed with the secretary of state through a database on the Secretary of State’s website, sos.ky.gov. The information included in the database is provided by candidates and may include photographs, email addresses and links to campaign websites.
