Upset Denied: Lady Braves hold off Williamstown, 51-44

With 2:24 remaining in the game, Williamstown freshman Tori Wilhoit hit a basket to give the Lady Demons a 44-42 lead over cross-town rival Grant County.

It would be the final time the Lady Demons would score as Grant County outscored Williamstown 7-0 down the stretch to hold on for a 51-44 victory. The win was the seventh in a row for the Lady Braves, who improved to 3-1 on the season.
