Free youth event planned Sept. 22

You Only Live Once, Do it right! will be the theme of a fun night for students in sixth through 12 grade. The event, organized by Family Worship Center, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the Northern Kentucky Fairgrounds, Baton Rouge Road in Williamstown.
Students can come and enjoy free pizza, a jousting inflatable, a rock wall, obstacle course, chance to win gift cards from local businesses and “Beats by Dre.”

Memory Walk to benefit Alzheimer’s

A benefit dinner/silent auction is planned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Williamstown Christian Church.
The menu includes pork roast and dressing or baked spaghetti, red skin potatoes, green beans, salad rolls and assorted homemade desserts.
The cost is $15 per person and $5 for children under 12.

Friends of Tavern plan dinner buffet

The Friends of Sherman Tavern will sponsor a chicken dinner buffet at 6 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the Sherman Tavern on Dixie Highway.
Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Children under 12 are $10.
The event will also feature the music of Larry True and the Highway 330 Band.
