Don Hubbs constantly hears the hum of “tick tock” all around him. He’s well aware of time passing as he’s spent the last 40 years making quartz clocks.
Hubbs, of Dry Ridge, began his fascination with time when he started constructing clocks in Richmond in 1975.
He stopped making clocks for a time, but after meeting and marrying his wife, Janie, a Florida native, the idea of mastering time appealed to both of them.
