The Grant County Board of Education approved the addition of girl’s tennis and wrestling to the list of athletic programs at Grant County High School, Aug. 12, for the 2010-11 school year.

“The school had an informational meeting about the programs,” GCHS Athletic Director Scott Shipp said. “We had plenty of people sign up for both sports.”

Shipp is looking at what Walton-Verona High School has done with its programs as guidance for GCHS.
