June M. Coplan, 41, of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested for second-degree robbery after police say she attempted to rob the Dry Ridge Subway on Jan. 30.

According to police, Coplan entered the restaurant, next to Check Smart on Broadway and ordered a sandwich. She alleged handed the clerk a $5 bill and when the clerk opened the register, police said Coplan grabbed money from it and ran outside.

The clerk followed and chased her through the parking lot. Near the Burger King, police said the clerk tackled Coplan.

Grant County Sheriff Chuck Dills said nearly all the money was recovered except for some bills that were blown away by the wind.

Coplan was arrested and lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
