Katie Cortez is the WES Preschool Student of the Week. She is in Dawn Clayton’s class. Her favorite thing about school is playing outside with her friends and she also likes coloring in class. “Katie is very sweet with a positive attitude toward school. She is always willing to help out a friend by encouraging them.” Dawn said. Her favorite thing to as a family is going to the park, being together all the time, watching movies or playing with her puppy.
Addyson VanHolten is the WES primary student of the week. She is in Diane Dungan’s second grade class. Her favorite thing about school is math, gym, recess and spending time with her best friends. Her favorite book is ‘Big Pumpkin’. “Addyson is an extremely hard worker. She listens, does her best and is always willing to help others. Her positive attitude and spectacular work ethic make Addyson the outstanding student that she is. She always has a smile on her face and is ready to work at all times.” Dungan said. Her favorite thing to do as a family is go to the park, ride bikes, skating or bowling.
Austin Nash is the WES Intermediate student of the week. He is in Deanna Wynn’s fifth grade class. His favorite thing about school is math. His favorite book is ‘Dog Tags’. “Austin is a very hard worker. He has a big heart and is always looking out for his classmates” Wynn said. His favorite thing to do as a family is play board games.
Brooklyn Scudder is the Grant County Middle School student of the week. She is on the Seminole team.
She is a self-motivated student who strives to reach her full potential and is committed to doing her best in the classroom.
