Isaac Espicio is the WES primary student of the week. He is in Michelle Whaley’s third grade class.
His favorite thing to do at school is going out to recess. “Isaac is the most hardworking student who gives 100 percent in everything that he does. He is very sweet and always follows the rules,” Whaley said. His favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
His favorite thing to do as a family is playing together.
Jemma Adams is the WES Intermediate student of the week. She is in Jessica Brann’s fifth grade class.
Her favorite thing about school is learning something new.
“Jemma is a model student. She strives to do her best on each and every activity. Her personality shines through her creativity while performing skits and reader’s theaters for the class. She is helpful and kind to all who cross her path,” Brann said.
Her favorite book is Heaven Is For Real.
Her favorite thing to do as a family is to cook together.
Kaylei Jones is the WES Preschool Student of the Week. She is in Dawn Clayton’s class.
“Kaylei loves math! She has a very quick wit when it comes to subitizing. Kaylei also takes time to help out younger peers with the routines in the classroom,” Clayton said.
Her favorite thing about school is making friends.
Her favorite books are Little Mermaid and Cinderella.
Her favorite thing to do as a family is play board games, go outside, ride bikes and go out to eat.
Trent Smith is the Grant County Middle School Seminole Student of the Week.
He is an outstanding student who sets a positive example for other students to follow. He is ambitious and energetic with his involvement in school and sports and seeks high achievement in both.
He always conducts himself in a responsible manner and gives his personal best.
He is productive, organized, dependable and considerate.
Mallory Robinson is the Grant County High School Student of the Week. She is a freshman and is in Leigh Simpson’s class.
“Mallory is a hard worker in class. She is thorough and diligent in her work and participates in class every day. She also does her best to set a good example outside the classroom as well.” Simpson said.
Her favorite subject in school is French and math.
Her favorite book is any of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
Her favorite thing to do with her family is going to sporting events and spending time with them.
