Connor Elmore is the WES Headstart a.m. Student of the Week. He is in Pam Mullin’s and Janet Griffith class. “Connor has a great attitude about school and is always ready to learn!” Mullins said. His favorite thing about school is riding the school bus. His favorite book is “The Moon In My Room”. His favorite thing to do as a family camping out and riding four wheelers with all of his cousins.

His favorite thing to about school is story time. Connor’s favorite books are Dinosaur books. His favorite thing to do as a family is go to the park.
Aydan Cripe is the primary WES Student of the Week. He is in Julie Kinsey’s kindergarten class. “Aydan is a very conscientious student who always puts forth his best effort. He adds a lot to class discussions and he is very talented artistically. Aydan is a very well-behaved little boy who sets a good example for others. Kinsey said. His favorite thing about school is gym and recess. His favorite book is “Darth Paper” (making Darth Vador out of paper). His favorite thing to do as a family is family fun night.
Clay Tucker is the intermediate WES Student of the Week. He is in Marcia Walter’s fifth grade class. “Clay has blossomed into a mature student that has been giving his 100 percent to reach daily learning targets. He is an expressive reader and asks questions that make everyone think deeper about what we are studying in class. Besides working to be a stronger student, he has also shown great character by apologizing and then truly changing his actions for the betterment of all his classmates. Very impressive! He seems most interested in learning history.” Walters said.
