Lady Demons get come-from-behind win

Where: Williamstown High School
What: The Lady Demons were trailing Eminence 5-1 in the fourth inning, before scoring six unanswered runs to come away with a 7-5 win.
Upcoming: The Lady Demons will head to face Simon Kenton at 7:30 p.m. May 13.


Vine Run Baptist Church hosts sports camp

When: May 13 6-9 p.m.
          May 14 10 a.m. -2 p.m.
          May 15  2-5 p.m.
Where: Dry Ridge Elementary School
What: In this multi-sport camp, the Vine Rin Baptist Church will combine three sports into one fun-filled weekend. Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport. Water and snacks will be available each day. Lunch will be provided on Saturday. The sports camp is limited to 40 campers. Campers who submit their registration forms by May 11, will receive a free T-shirt. Call 859-428-1079 for more information.


Dr. Troy Ashcraft and Dr. Sandra Utter, St. Elizabeth physicians, are offering sports physical appointments for Grant County students at the Dry Ridge office.

Dr. Utter will give physicals on July 11 and Dr. Ashcraft will see students on July 13. Appointments are necessary and will be given from 9 a.m. to noon. The price of the physical is $15, which must be paid at the time of service.

This service is provided for all young athletes to insure everyone gets to participate in the sport of their choice. No insurance will be billed. Make an appointment by calling 859-823-5441.
