Lady Braves take care of business over SK

What: The Lady Braves bounced back from their loss to Oldham County, defeating the Lady Pioneers 4-3. Sophomore Samantha Perry had a home run to lead Grant County.
Upcoming: The Lady Braves will face Williamstown at 5:30 p.m. April 20 at Williamstown High School.

Williamstown falls to Paris 7-4

When: April 18
Where: Williamstown High School
What: The Demons still are looking for their first win as they lost to Paris 7-4.
Upcoming: Williamstown will go on the road for two games, as they will face Carroll County, April 21 at 5:30 p.m. and have a matchup with Grant County, at 11 a.m. April 23.

Demons, Braves race at Carroll County

When: April 12
Where: Carroll County High School
What: Both track teams were in competition at the Carroll County All-Comers. Williamstown junior Sean Moreland won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.6 seconds. Grant County junior Cierra Fannon won the 100m hurdles on the girls side. Grant County Middle School eighth grader Halee Hudson won the girls shot put with a distance of 27 meters and 10 1/2 centimeters. A rival competition for Grant County and Williamstown was the boys’ 4x400m relay race, where Grant County beat Williamstown by five seconds.
