Senate bill to help independent pharmacies

 Independent pharmacies are supporting Kentucky Senate Bill 5 to fight back against unfair dispensing fee practices that have tried to push them out of business.

SB5 would require the Department of Medicaid Services administer outpatient pharmacy benefits rather than allow Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) to do so.
