Relay For Life teams plan fundraising events

Dry Ridge Elementary

The Dry Ridge Elementary Relay for Life team will hold a $.25 auction at 6:30 p.m. May 8 at the J and B Hall in Dry Ridge.

Grant County News

The Grant County News Relay team will be holding a Relay Relics community sale May 9 at Grant County Park in Crittenden. More than 20 booths will be set up selling a variety of items including homemade cakes and breads, quilts, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Partylite candles and many more items.

Total Care Pharmacy

Total Care Pharmacy’s Relay team will be having a lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13 at Total Care Pharmacy in Dry Ridge. There will be bbq sandwiches with two sides and dessert for $5. For questions, call 823-0200.

Forcht Bank

The Forcht Bank Relay team will be hosting a spaghetti dinner complete with salad, desert and entertainment from 5 to 7 p.m. May 15 at Williamstown Christian Church. The cost is $5 per ticket, $7 at the door and $3 for children ages 4 to 10. Children 3 and under will eat for free. To order tickets, call 824-4436.

Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart’s Relay team will be hosting the Country Rockers Band with a special appearance by Felicity Spicer from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 16. There will also be a bake sale, cookout, raffle, split the pot, face painting, duck pond and a corn hole tournament. Entry forms for the corn hole tournament are inside the Dry Ridge Wal-Mart. There is a $20 per team fee and prizes for first and second. Deadline to enter is May 15.

Vision One

The Vision Relay team is holding a raffle for Vera Bradley bags, Jimmy Choo sunglasses, Maui Gym (sunglasses) certificates, Guess sunglasses and a Juicy Couture perfume and collector case. Tickets are $5 each or three for $12. Tickets will also be available the night of relay or by stopping at Vision One, 1114 Fashion Ridge Road, Dry Ridge.

Teeth Whitening

Dr. Jack Lenihan’s dental office in Crittenden is offering a Zoom In-Office teeth whitening special. The cost is $200 and $25 will be donated to the Grant County Relay For Life. Call 428-3100 for more information.
