A prayer for the churches of Grant County

God Almighty in Heaven, We pray for the churches of our county.  We thank you for our churches and want to acknowledge that we are completely dependent upon our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Because of this we pray that the churches of Grant County would;

Be covered by your grace and mercy.
Be diligent in the preaching of the Word of God.
Be diligent in the proclamation of the Gospel.
Be unified in the cause of Christ.
Be passionate about reaching our community.
Be repentant of our apathetic and self-focused ministries.
Be a spiritual light to the world.
Be humble in our service and care for the poor and needy.
Be churches that give you all glory and honor and praise.
Be churches that trust in your providence and plans.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, the creator, sustainer and redeemer. Amen
