POLITICAL SCENE

The Grant County Republican Party met recently and elected new officers for the 2012 - 2016 term. Officers include: Rob Ackerson, secretary; Eli Anderson, youth chair; Pete Whaley, chairman; Debbie Rogers, vice chair and Missy Preston, treasurer. The Grant County GOP has been actively meeting since 1995. They currently meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Williamstown City Building.
