Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 9:05 a.m. May 22 on Arnie Risen Boulevard. The drivers involved were Barbara B. Owen, 74, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Chevrolet and Joyce K. Bishop, 76, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Ford.

Dry Ridge
Chief Rick Kells charged Chanda Lawrence, 26, of Dry Ridge, with theft by unlawful taking under the value of $500, on June 8 on Ferguson Boulevard. Lawrence was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Dusty R. Wilson, 29, of Williamstown, for failure to appear, at 3:10 p.m. June 8. Wilson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 1:58 p.m. June 7 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were David M. Williams, 55, of Crittenden, driving a 1991 Ford and William L. Mays, 35, of Batavia, Ohio, driving a 2001 Honda.

Grant County Sheriff’s Office

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Melissa Pablano-Tlacuatl, 28, of Dry Ridge, for failure to appear, at 9 a.m. June 1 on Barnes Road. Pablano-Tlacuatl was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Dustin M. Franks, 19, of Dry Ridge, for failure to appear, at 9:14 a.m. June 1 on Barnes Road. Franks was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Matt Boshears executed a Campbell County warrant for Frankie L. Cox, 32, of Berry, at 5:20 p.m. June 2 on Meadowview Circle. Cox was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 2:33 p.m. May 31 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Lisa A. Brazier, 42, of Crittenden, driving a 2001 Dodge and Michael A. Ketron, 37, of Burlington, driving a 2004 Ford.
The sheriff’s office served 57 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, investigated one accident involving an out-of-county resident, executed five warrants involving out-of-county residents and drove 650 miles transporting prisoners.

 

Kentucky State Police
Kentucky State Police charged Donald W. Silcox, 555, of Berry, with sodomy first offense, sexual abuse first offense, unlawful transaction with a minor and failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change, at 5:46 a.m. June 9 on Ky 1744. Silcox was lodged at the Bourbon County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Gary Scroggins, 58, of Williamstown, with driving under the influence in the third degree, operating a motor vehicle on suspended drivers license and no insurance, at 12:21 a.m. June 9 on Ferguson Boulevard. Scroggins was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged David M. Nichols, 31, of Dry Ridge, with assault in the fourth degree, at 6:54 p.m. June 10 on Harlan Street. Nichols was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Kyle Reams investigated an accident at 12:12 a.m. June 7 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Cynthia Rhodes, 61, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1991 Buick and Gerard Smith, 80, of Bromley, driving a 2001 Honda.
Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 3:48 p.m. June 8 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Dorothy Gayhart, 78, of Crittenden, driving a 2006 Ford and John Cuneo, 78, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1996 Ford.
Trooper Tim Vinal investigated an accident at 10:31 a.m. June 9 on Spears Lane. The drivers involved were James Samuel, 44, of Crittenden, driving a 2012 Jeep and Gene Wynn, 81, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2007 Buick.

Williamstown
Officer Brad Morris executed a Boone County warrant for Dana A. Webb, 64, of Dry Ridge, for theft by deception under the value of $500, at 9:52 p.m. June 8 on Cherokee Trail. Webb was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Officer Brad Morris cited Jacob S. Bates, 19, of Berry, with speeding, one headlight, expired registration receipt and failure to produce insurance card, at 4:06 a.m. June 9 on N. Main Street.
Officer Robert Reed investigated an accident at 1:15 p.m. June 4 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Carolyn S. Spicer, 57, of Williamstown, driving a 1996 Jeep and Jackie Cornman, 72, of Williamstown, driving a 1970 Ford.
Officer Brad Morris investigated an accident at 10:35 p.m. June 9 on Ky 36 West. The drivers involved were Phillip J. Creighton, 63, of Alpharetta, Ga, driving a 1999 Ford and Elaine Sharp, 53, of Williamstown, driving a 2007 Chevrolet.
The Williamstown Police cited two out-of-county residents with speeding and failure to produce insurance card.
