Grant County Sheriff
Deputy Scott Conrad executed multiple Kenton County warrants and a Boone County warrant for Darren B. Abney, 28, of Williamstown, at 6:34 p.m. Dec. 30 on Arnie Risen Boulevard. Abney was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad charged Edward L. Shuler, 19, of Corinth, with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and failure to wear seat belt, at 10:59 p.m. Dec. 30 on N. Main Street. Shuler was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Robert Morgan charged Larry R. Denham Jr., of Dry Ridge, with alcohol intoxication in a public place, at 3:01 a.m. Dec. 31 on Peaceful Road. Denham was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 6:54 p.m. Dec. 22 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were Richard B. Partin Jr., 39, of Corinth, driving a 1996 Ford and Charles W. Long, 65, of Crittenden, driving a 2003 Chevrolet.
Deputy Robert Morgan investigated an accident at 7:56 p.m. Dec. 25 on Bridle Court. The driver involved was Lauren R. Kidwell, 19, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Chevrolet and a parked, 2000 Toyota owned by Richard Burk, of Dry Ridge.
Deputy Brian Maines investigated an accident at 8:53 a.m. Dec. 26 on Keefer Road. The drivers involved were Stephen M. Tatum, 48, of Corinth, driving a 2005 Dodge and Lora T. Click, 53, of Corinth, driving a 2010 Toyota.
Deputy Robert Morgan investigated an accident at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 26 on Arbors Drive. The drivers involved were Javier Granjero, 34, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Volkswagon and Dorcas W. Kelley, 63, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Toyota.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 3:21 p.m. Dec. 27 on Knoxville Road. The driver involved was Amy Robinson, 33, of Jonesville, driving 2009 Nissan.
The sheriff’s office served 65 summons/subpoenas, served 27 hours in court, executed four emergency protective orders, investigated one accident involving an out of county resident, executed one warrant involving an out of county resident and drove 350 miles transporting prisoners.
Kentucky State Police
Kentucky State Police charged Daniel W. James, 26, of Corinth, with violation of emergency protective order, at 7:50 p.m. Dec. 22 on Cynthiana Street. James was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Bethany Smith, 27, of Williamstown, with violation of emergency protective order, at 7:51 p.m. Dec. 22 on Cynthiana Street. Smith was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed multiple warrants for Stephanie Matthews, 30, at 3:09 a.m. Dec. 24 on Jessica Lane. Matthews was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed multiple warrants for Timothy Kannady, 26, at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 24 om Jessica Lane. Kannady was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Russell E. Hopper, 42, at 9:31 Dec. 25 on Bypass Road. Hopper was also charged with operating on a suspended license. Hopper was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Larry Brown, 42, at 1:50 a.m. Dec. 26 on Webb Odor Road. Brown was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Adam Dillingham, 31, of Williamstown, at 8:59 p.m. Dec. 26 on Ferguson Boulevard. Dillingham was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Josh Skinner, 36, of Dry Ridge, with expired registration plate, expired registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, failure to notify Department of Transportation, possession of open container and driving under the influence. Skinner was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Zachary Clark, 23, at 8:45 p.m. Dec. 29 on Ferguson Boulevard. Clark was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Lisa Myers, 48, of Demossville, with driving under the influence, suspended operators license and no insurance. Myers was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Paula Riggs, 31, of Corinth, with speeding, reckless driving, no insurance, failure to notify Department of Transportation, driving under the influence, no registration receipt, failure to use child restraint, attempted assault on an officer and possible open container, at 4:46 a.m. Dec. 31 on Interstate 75. Riggs was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police arrested Matthew McCandless, 31, of Berry, at 4:47 a.m. Dec. 31 on I-75. McCandless was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Williamstown Police

Officer Brad Morris cited Jason L. Partin, 30, of Williamstown, with disregarding stop sign, at 4:48 p.m. Dec. 30 on Helton Road.
Sergeant Robert Reed charged Blaire L. Blevins, 19, of Crittenden, with alcohol intoxication in a public place, at 1:07 a.m. Jan. 1 on Cabana Shores Drive. Blevins was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sergeant Robert Reed charged Chad M. Stamper, 18, of Crittenden, with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol under the age of 21, at 1:07 a.m. Jan. 1 on Cabana Shores. Stamper was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Officer David Osborne investigated an accident at 11:55 p.m. Dec. 27 on Dry Ridge Mt. Zion Road. The driver involved was a juvenile, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1997 Toyota.
Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 11:25 a.m. Jan. 2 on S. Main Street. The driver involved was Clyde Caldwell, 21, of Williamstown, driving a 1995 Dodge.
Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 2 on Paris Street. The driver involved was Edward A. Feldmann, 18, of Williamstown, driving a 1998 Saturn and a parked 1997 GMC owned by Connie F. Hubbard.
Williamstown Police executed a Fayette and Grant County warrant on an out-of-county resident. The out-of-county resident was also charged with defective steering gear and operating on a suspended license.
