Sgt. Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 10:48 p.m. Jan. 7 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were Jesse A. Bushong, 29, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1997 Honda and Jose L. Perez, 35, of Cary, N.C., driving a 1997 Dodge.
Sgt. Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 10:28 p.m. Jan. 7 on Heekin-Lawrenceville Road. An unidentified vehicle ran off the roadway and through a fence owned by Angie Traft of Williamstown.
Deputy Mike Wright executed a warrant, for flagrant nonsupport, for Timothy R. Caldwell, 31, of Crittenden, at 1:54 p.m. Jan. 8 on Taft Highway. Caldwell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright charged Doena K. Griffin, 42, of Corinth, with possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia at 5:34 p.m. Jan. 8 on Highway 330. Griffin was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant, for probation violation, for Sharon Foley-Thornberry, 28, of Crittenden, at 2 a.m. Jan. 10 on Hyde Road. Foley-Thornberry was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed an Oldham County warrant for Victor W. Burba, 36, of Williamstown, at 11:25 a.m. Jan. 10 on Barnes Road. Burba was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright charged Nicholas Edwards, 24, of Dry Ridge, with receiving stolen property less than $500 at 3:41 p.m. Jan. 10 on Dixie Highway. Edwards was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 3:43 p.m. Jan. 11 on Ragtown Road. The drivers involved were Kenneth H. Forrester, III, 31, of Corinth, driving a 1989 Cadillac and John L. Wainscott, 30, of Owenton, driving a 1998 Ford. Deputy Conrad executed a Harrison County warrant for Forrester at 4:14 p.m. Jan. 11. Forrester was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Robert Morgan investigated an accident at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 11 on Gouge Drive. The drivers involved were Daryl W. McIntosh, 36, of Crittenden, driving a 1999 Chevrolet and a parked 1998 Ford owned by Stephanie Flannagan of Crittenden.
Deputy Kevin Burke and Deputy Brian Maines executed Grant and Owen County warrants for Robert J. Craig, 33, of Corinth, at 9:33 p.m. Jan. 12 on Owenton Road. Craig was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Brian Maines executed a warrant, for theft by unlawful taking less than $500, for James Scudder, 63, of Corinth, at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 12 on Scudder Lane. Scudder was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 7:28 a.m. Jan. 12 on Verona-Mt. Zion Road. The driver involved was Jo H. Whiteker, 53, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Ford.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 9:58 a.m. Jan. 12 on Lemon-Northcutt Road. The driver involved was Conway L. Shafer, 27, of Corinth, driving a 1996 Ford.
Deputy Robert Morgan investigated an accident at 1:56 p.m. Jan. 12 on Lawrenceville Road. The driver involved was Brent L. Caldwell, 29, of Williamstown, driving a 1997 International and a parked 2006 Chevrolet owned by Grant County Oil Company.
The sheriff’s office served 73 summons/subpoenas, served 50 hours in court, investigated nine accidents involving out of county residents and executed two arrests/warrants for out of county residents and drove 315 miles transporting prisoners.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 12:55 p.m. Jan. 11 on S. Main Street. The drivers involved were Shirley Cain, 69, of Williamstown, driving a 2002 Chevrolet and Robert C. Cook, 41, of Corinth, driving a 1995 Ford.
Officer Ron Perkins executed a warrant, for criminal possession of forged instrument second degree, for Melissa D. Campbell, 38, of Williamstown, at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 11 on Barnes Road.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins executed warrants for controlled substance endangerment to a child fourth degree and unlawful distribution of a methamphetamine precursor, first offense, for Valerie B. Dixon, 29, of Williamstown.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins executed warrants, for manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, possession of controlled substance first degree, second or more offenses (methamphetamine), controlled substance endangerment to a child fourth degree and unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor, first offense, for Gregory K. Orr, 39, at 2:23 p.m. Jan. 14 on Broadway.
The Williamstown Police Department investigated an accident involving out of county residents.
