Dry Ridge
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 3:24 p.m. Dec. 23 on Broadway. The drivers involved were Dawn R. Barton, 30, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Pontiac and Jennifer D. Brown, 36, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Chevrolet. Barton was charged with no insurance.

Grant County
Deputy Robert Morgan investigated an accident at 2:44 p.m. Dec. 13 on Warsaw Road. The driver involved was Mike T. Baker, 48, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Ford.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 1:54 p.m. Dec. 14 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Michelle Valdez, 32, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1994 Nissan and Lisa Logan, 49, of Walton, driving a 2003 Honda.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 10:51 p.m. Dec. 16 on Harlan Street. The driver involved was Jerry L. Purnell, 18, of Crittenden, driving an 1992 Chevrolet and a parked 2002 Chevrolet owned by Philip Hamon of Dry Ridge.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 4:09 pm. Dec. 18 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Robert Turner, 19, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1994 Chevrolet.
Deputy Bobby Webb investigated an accident at 8:56 a.m. Dec. 19 on Greenville Road. The drivers involved were Steven N. Howe, 49, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2009 Subaru and Ronald P. Hamilton, 60, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Chevrolet.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 10:37 p.m. Dec. 20 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Zachary R. Walters, 20, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Saturn.
Deputy Brian Maines charged Russell E. Hopper, 41, of Crittenden, with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 20 on Markim Drive. Hopper was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant, for contempt of court, for Jeffrey A. Maxwell, 50, of Dry Ridge, at 11:05 p.m. Dec. 21 on Bridle Court. Maxwell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Andy Reeves executed six Grant County warrants, for theft by deception, for Ryan G. Kines, 30, of Dry Ridge, at 10:04 a.m. Dec. 24 on S. Main Street. Kines was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office served 39 summons/subpoenas, served 24 hours in court, served two emergency protective orders, investigated 11 accidents involving out of county residences and executed two arrests/warrants for out of county residents and drove 342 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Melissa Penick, 28, of Dry Ridge, at 8:06 p.m. Dec. 19 on Warsaw Road.
Kentucky State Police charged Richard Penick, 31, of Dry Ridge, with obstructing governmental operations at 8:06 p.m. Dec. 19 on Warsaw Road.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Christy Hoffman, 36, at 1:53 a.m. Dec. 19 on McCoy Road. Hoffman was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Jason Thomas, 32, with assault fourth degree and resisting arrest at 1:16 a.m. Dec. 20 on Gouge Drive.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for, criminal possession of a forged instrument, for Eric Brooks, 24, of Dry Ridge, at 11:05 p.m. Dec. 22 on Sherman-Mt. Zion Road. Brooks was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Ronald Gilbert investigated an accident at 10:19 p.m. Dec. 24 on Violet Road. The drivers involved were Patsy Minton, 62, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Honda and Randall Freeman, 29, of Corinth, driving a 2010 Chevrolet.
Trooper Kyle Reams investigated an accident at 12:06 a.m. Dec. 25 on Crittenden-Mt. Zion Road. The driver involved was Robert Isaacs, 23, of Williamstown, driving a 2003 Chevrolet.

Williamstown
Officer Ron Perkins charged Melissa D. Campbell, 38, of Williamstown, with criminal possession of a forged instrument second degree and forgery third degree at 8:57 p.m. Dec. 20 on Turner Road.
Officer David Osborne charged Phillip B. Young, 23, of Dry Ridge, with expired registration plates, expired registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card and operating on a suspended license at 10:12 p.m. Dec. 24 on Broadway. Young was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. Osborne executed a Kenton County warrant, for contempt of court, for Young.
Officer David Osborne charged Wilburn D. Russell, 46, of Dry Ridge, with expired registration plates, expired registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card and operating on an expired operator’s license at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 24 on Broadway.
Williamstown Police Department investigated an accident involving an out of county resident, charged an out of county resident with speeding, operating on a suspended license and failure of owner to maintain required security and charged an out of county resident with alcohol intoxication in a public place, first and second offense, and disorderly conduct second degree.
