Grant County Sheriff's Office
Deputy Ron West executed a warrant for Michael Turner, 30, of Dry Ridge, for four counts of theft by unlawful taking, at 5 p.m. July 21 on Barnes Road. Turner was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Robert Morgan investigated an accident at 9:56 p.m. July 26 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Amy M. Wuest, 35, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Dodge and Rita Spencer, 41, of Owenton, driving a 1998 Ford.
Deputy Kevin Burke investigated an accident at 3:40 a.m. July 27 on Verona-Mt. Zion Road. The driver involved was Steven Smith, 49, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Yamaha.
Deputy Robert Morgan investigated an accident at 5:58 p.m. July 27 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were an unknown hit-and-run driver and Clareen T. Parrott, 34, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 General Motors.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 1 on McCoy Road. The driver involved was an unknown hit-and-run driver and Brian K. Ford, 35, a pedestrian, of Dry Ridge.
Sheriff Chuck Dills and Deputy Brian Maines charged Donavan Adams, 22, of Dry Ridge, with criminal possession of forged instrument second degree and failure to appear in court, at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 1 on Meadow View Circle. Adams was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Robert Morgan executed two Fayette County warrants and a Grant County warrant for Mack McIntosh, 32, of Dry Ridge, at 5 p.m Aug. 1 on Broadway. McIntosh was also charged with seven counts of theft by deception. McIntosh was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 6:35 p.m. Aug. 2 on Interstate 75. The driver involved was Dale M. Landrum, 46, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2010 Toyota.
Deputy Mike Wright executed a warrant for Justin W. Lewis, 31, of Crittenden, at 7:41 p.m. Aug. 3 on I-75. Lewis was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad charged Jeffrey S. Beach, 21, of Williamstown, with assault fourth degree at 1:23 a.m. Aug. 5 on White Chapel Road. Beach was lodge at the Grant County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office served 49 summons/subpoenas, served 50 hours in court, executed one emergency protective order, investigated three accidents involving out of county residents and drove 711 miles transporting prisoners.
Kentucky State Police
Kentucky State Police charged Herman S. Erfman, 45, of Williamstown, with wanton endangerment first at 9:32 p.m. Aug. 4 on Brushy Creek Drive. Erfman was turned over to a transportation officer.
Kentucky State Police charged Kaylynn S. Simpson, 18, of Corinth, with disorderly conduct at 4:04 a.m. Aug. 5 on White Chapel Road. Simpson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Cassandra L. Anzalone, 22, with theft by deception and possession of forged instrument at 5:06 p.m. Aug. 6 on Barnes Road. Anzalone was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident at 3:32 p.m. July 31 on Baton Rouge Road. The driver involved was Terri S. Dezarn, 46, of Williamstown, driving a 2002 Pontiac and a parked 2011 GM owned by Hertz Vehicles, LLC. Dezarn was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid or assistance.
Sgt. Robert Reed investigated an accident at 11:57 p.m. Aug. 2 on Falmouth Street. The driver involved was Robert S. Goodrich, 19, of Williamstown, driving a 2006 Chevrolet.
Sgt. Robert Reed executed a warrant for Kathy S. Goecke, 46, of Dry Ridge, for failure to appear to pay fines, at 2:40 a.m. Aug. 3 on Ferguson Boulevard. Goecke was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Officer David Osborne charged Christy Hoffman, 37, of Dry Ridge, with custodial interference at 11:59 p.m. Aug. 4 on McCoy Road. Hoffman was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Office David Osborne investigated an accident at 10:17 a.m. Aug. 6 on Broadway. The drivers involved were Fred M. Holland, 40, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Ford and Alexandria N. Behne, 18, of Mason, Ohio, driving a 2007 Ford.
Williamstown Police Department arrested out of county residents on Leslie and Kenton County warrants and charged an out of county resident with careless driving.
