Dry Ridge Police

Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Robert Weigel, 26, of Williamstown, for receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking valued less than $10,000 at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 30 on Hampshire Drive. Weigel was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 1:37 p.m. Sept. 5 on Blackburn Lane. The drivers involved were Jamie L. Schirmer, 31, of Cincinnati driving a 2005 Saturn and Emily H. Funk, 25, of Crittenden, driving a 2009 Toyota.
Chief Rick Kells executed a Menifee County warrant for Shane Howell, 19, of Dry Ridge, for failure to appear/ burglary first at 2 p.m. Sept. 6 on McCoy Road. Howell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 8:09 a.m. Sept. 6 on Bypass Road. The drivers involved were Luther T. Cleveland, Jr., 49, of Williamstown, driving a 1997 Honda and Victoria T. Davis, 41, of Williamstown, driving a 2011 Chevrolet.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 6:53 a.m. Sept. 7 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Garrett W. Hall, 34, of Williamstown, driving a 2000 Toyota and Mickey K. Grey, 47, of Crittenden, driving a 2004 I.C. Corporation.
Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Ricky Lynn Ford, 25, of Dry Ridge, failure to appear at 2 p.m. Sept. 7 on McCoy Road. Ford was lodged the Grant County Detention Center.
Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Nathan S. Dixon, 24, of Dry Ridge, for failure to appear at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 7 on S. Main Street. Dixon was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Grant County Sheriff's Office


Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 5:46 p.m. Sept. 2 on Dry Ridge Road. The drivers involved were a juvenile, 16, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1988 Honda and Melissa R. Mason, 30, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1969 Chevrolet.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 7:18 p.m. Sept. 2 on Warsaw Road. The drivers involved were Belinda G. Powers, 48, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2005 Nissan and Robert Webster, 42, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2011 Harley-Davidson.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 8:36 p.m. Sept. 6 on Warsaw Road. The driver involved was a juvenile, 17, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Cadillac.
Sgt. Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 11:40 a.m. Sept. 7 on Knoxville Road. The driver involved was Krystle Kelly, 20, of Williamstown, driving a 2002 Hyundai.
Sgt. Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 9:09 a.m. Sept. 8 on Crittenden-Mt. Zion Road. The driver involved was Susan M. Stout, 48, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Buick.
Deputy Brian Maines executed a warrant for Rodney D. McClanahan, 25, of Williamstown, for failure to appear, at 9:26 a.m. Sept. 8 on Barnes Road. McClanahan was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Sharon Stull, 34, of Dry Ridge, for failure to appear, at 1:47 a.m. Sept. 11 on Verona-Mt. Zion Road. Stull was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office served 66 summons/subpoenas, served 50 hours in court, executed three emergency protective orders, investigated four accidents involving out of county residents, and drove 350 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Kentucky State Police charged Jane A. Hinton, 32, of Crittenden, with careless driving, driving under the influence, first aggravated, failure to produce insurance card and failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change at 5:23 a.m. Sept. 4 on Violet Road. Hinton was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged William Turner, 48, of Demossville, with assault second degree and violation of Emergency Protective Order at 5 a.m. Sept. 6 on Barnes Road. Turner was lodged at the Boone County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Jesus Rodriguez, 19, of Dry Ridge, at 6:47 p.m. Sept. 6 on Dixie Highway. Rodriguez was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Jeven Kedding investigated an accident at 4:48 p.m. Sept. 6 on Violet Road. The drivers involved were Jacqueline Cain, 60, of Independence, driving a 2002 Ford and Michelle Ruebusch Brown, 32, of Crittenden, driving a 2011 Toyota.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Kirk Novit, of Williamstown, at 12:24 a.m. Sept. 7 on Lemon-Northcutt Road. Novit was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Jeven Kedding investigated an accident at 4:08 p.m. Sept. 7 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Eric Courtney, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Ford.
Kentucky State Police charged James Smith, 34, with parole violation at 11:03 a.m. Sept. 8 on Spillman Drive. Smith was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Jim Bob Dalton, 28, of Corinth, at 12:51 p.m. Sept. 8 on Blanchet Road. Dalton was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed two warrants for Joshua W. Bell, 24, of Crittenden, at 5:46 p.m. Sept. 8 on Dixie Highway. Bell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Joshua Whitton investigated an accidnet at 4:09 a.m. Sept. 8 on KY 491. The driver involved was Nicole Faser, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Plymouth.
Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 8 on Summerfield Drive. The driver involved  was Jamie Bowlin, 24, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Ford.
Trooper Tim Vinal investigated an accident at 4:27 p.m. Sept. 8 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Eugene Jones, 60, of Williamstown, driving a 1999 Ford.
Trooper Michael Snowden investigated an accident at 4:37 p.m. Sept. 8 on Stringtown Road. The drivers involved were Brandon Neace, 27, of Corinth, driving a 1992 Nissan and Ricky Johnson, 49, of Berry, driving a 2004 Hyundai.
Kentucky State Police charged Gregory S. Collins, 42, of Williamstown, with driving under the influence, first, at 11:28 p.m. Sept. 9 on Cordova Road. Collins was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Brett L. Widener, 18, of Berry, at 11:44 p.m. Sept. 9 on Cordova Road. Widener was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Ronald Gilbert investigated an accident at 5:23 p.m. Sep.t 9 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Regina Schadler, 39, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2009 Toyota.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Anthony Nichols, 25, at 11:57 a.m. Sept. 10 on Broadway. Nichols was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Williamstown Police

Officer David Osborne charged Richard L. Nash, Jr., 47, of Dry Ridge with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting valued less than $500 at 8:12 p.m. Sept. 7 on Ferguson Boulevard.
Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident at 3:54 p.m. Sept. 6 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Angela J. Johnson, 40, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Chevrolet and a 1998 Toyota owned by April Toomey, of Dry Ridge.
Officer David Osborne charged Barbara Hess, 18, of Williamstown with disregarding traffic regulations by a pedestrian at 2:18 a.m. Sept. 9 on I-75. Hess was later charged with disorderly conduct second degree and lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
