Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells executed multiple warrants for Joshua A. Farmer, 23, of Dry Ridge, for failure to appear, at 12:15 p.m. July 22 on Blackburn Drive. Farmer was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 10:03 a.m. July 9 on Blackburn Drive. The drivers involved were Pete Short, 67, of Williamstown, driving a 2013 Chevrolet and Betti McClanahan, 50, of Williamstown, driving a 2011 Chevrolet. 

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 3:11 p.m. July 11 on Redwood Drive. The driver involved was Emma L. Napier, 61, of Williamstown, driving a 2000 Volkswagen and a parked vehicle. 

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 3:05 p.m. July 12 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Rodney A. McClanahan, 47, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Chevrolet and Anna K. McDevitt, 39, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2003 Kia. 

Dry Ridge Police charged three out-of-county residents with theft by unlawful taking and executed a warrant for an out-of-county resident. 

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Scott Conrad executed a warrant for Ryan D. Kinmon, 34, of Dry Ridge, for probation violation, at 10:29 a.m. July 12 on Barnes Road. Kinmon was already lodged at the Grant County Detenion Center. 

Deputy Todd Anderson executed a warrant for Brittany L. Manning, 25, of Dry Ridge, for theft by unlawful taking, at 9:53 a.m. July 16 on N. Main Street. Manning was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Erin Arrington, 23, of Crittenden, for receiving stolen property, at 1:45 p.m. July 16 on Barnes Road. Arrington was already lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Stanley E. Parker, 46, of Dry Ridge, for flagrant non-support, at 8:01 p.m. July 16 on Napoleon Zion station road. Parker was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Sgt. Brian Maines charged Heath A. Spillers, 39, of Corinth, with assault in the fourth degree, at 6:26 p.m. July 18 on Lewis Lane. Spillers was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Deputy Lee Jacobs investigated an accident at 1 p.m. July 9 on Arnie Risen Boulevard. The driver involved was Matthew S. Davis, 24, of Demossville, driving a 2004 Chevrolet and a parked vehicle. 

Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 4:08 p.m. July 10 on Sherman-Mt. Zion Road. The drivers involved were Chad S. Durr, 24, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2009 John Deere and Joshua B. Webster, 26, of Crittenden, driving a 2001 Ford. 

Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 7:15 July 11 on Ruark Road. The driver involved was Alisha D. Johnson, 33, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2006 Toyota. 

The sheriff’s office served 63 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, executed two emergency protective orders, investigated six accidents involving out-of-county residents, executed two warrants involving out-of-county residents and drove 950 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Teresa Phillips, 21, of Dry Ridge, at 1:28 a.m. July 14 on Warsaw Road. Phillips was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Kentucky State Police charged Bobbi Jo Day, 41, of Crittenden, with driving under the influence of drugs and /or alcohol and careless driving, at 11:06 p.m. July 15 on Indian Hill Drive. Day was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Michael Hubbard, 24, of Demossville, at 1:37 p.m. July 18 on Conrad Lane. Hubbard was lodged at the Boone County Detention Center. 

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Randall Stanley, 22, of Dry Ridge, at 9:34 p.m. July 18 on Interstate 75. Stanley was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 11:36 a.m. July 18 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Mark Eastham, 59, of Crittenden, driving a 19997 Chevrolet and Rose Holland, 58, of Crittenden, driving a 1994 Ford. 

Trooper Christopher Marcum investigated an accident at 7:03 p.m. July 20 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Cynthia Woodyard, 56, of Crittenden, driving a 2010 Toyota and Ashley Pollard, 21, of Crittenden, driving a 1999 Honda. 

Williamstown

Officer Matt Boshears cited Gena M. Goodrich, 23, of Williamstown, with failure to produce insurance card, at 4:49 p.m. July 15 on N. Main Street. 

Officer Brad Morris cited Nicholas C. Jump, 34, of Dry Ridge, with disregarding a stop sign, at 10:22 p.m. July 15 on Race Street. 

Officer Brad Morris executed multiple warrants for Robert D. Huffman, 28, of Demossville, for no registration recipept, no registration plates and failure to produce insurance card, at 8:18 p.m. on Barnes Road. Huffman was already lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Officer David Osborne cited Sierra Slinker, 18, of Dry Ridge, with instructional permit violations, at 2:03 a.m. July 20 on S. Main Street. 

Officer David Osborne cited Michael A. Roberts, 23, of Crittenden, with failure to wear seat belts and failure to signal, at 12:07 a.m. July 21 on Broadway Street. 

Officer David Osborne charged Robert Nace, 18, of Williamstown, with possession of marijuana, at 9 a.m. July 22 on Ruthman Drive. Nace was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Officer David Osborne investigated an accident at 3:30 p.m. July 18 on N. Main Street. The driver involved was Matthew E. Davenport, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1992 Toyota. 

Williamstown Police cited two out-of-county residents with failure to illuminate headlamps and failure to produce insurance card and executed a warrant on an out-of-county resident.
