Police Reports 7-21-11

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Scott Conrad charged Gary S. Wolford, 33, of Williamstown, with receiving stolen property under $500, fraudulent use of credit card and tampering with physical evidence at 5:31 a.m. July 13. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Terry Osborne charged Christopher W. Witt, 23, of Williamstown, with assault of a police officer, wanton endangerment of a police officer, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief at 12:50 p.m. July 13 at the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Witt was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 2:42 p.m. on July 16 on Sherman Newtown Road. The driver involved was Johnny Bryant, 70 of , Dry Ridge, driving a 1979 Ford that struck a tree.
The sheriff’s office served 61 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, executed two emergency protective orders and five arrest warrants  for out of county residents and drove 1,276 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Trooper McTavish McDonald investigated an accident at 10:44 a.m. on July 10 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Cecil Abner, 79, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1992 Chevrolet and a pedestrian, Shayne Smith, 22 of Dayton, Ky.
Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 12:30 p.m. July 10 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Cheryl Glacken, 50, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2004 Chevrolet. Glacken struck a deer.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Matthew Hubbard, 24, Williamstown, at 4:33 p.m. on July 13 on Main Street. Hubbard was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Timothy Estep, 23, of Crittenden, at 8:17 p.m. on July 13 on Harlan Street. Estep was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Donald E. Milburn, 25, of Dry Ridge for alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 5:58 a.m. July 15 on Michigan Avenue. Milburn was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Ronald Gilbert investigated an accident at 10:40 a.m. July 15 on Warsaw Avenue. The drivers involved were Justin Whitehead, 23, of Butler, driving a 1991 Chevrolet and April Robinson, 50, of Williamstown driving a 1997 Chevrolet.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Donna Workman, 51, of Dry Ridge at 6:38 p.m. July 15 on Dixie Highway. Workman was lodged in the Kenton County Detention Center.
Trooper Jevin Kedding investigated an accident at 4:41 p.m. July 16 on Dixie Highway. The driver was a 17-year-old juvenile, driving a 2003 Cadillac

Williamstown Police

Assistant Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 9:39 a.m. July 13 on Cynthiana Street. The drivers involved were Jennifer Brinker, 41, of Williamstown, driving a 2008 Kia and Anna B. Thompson, 30, of Corinth, driving a 2005 Buick.
Officer David Osborne charged Natasha Rae Carrara, 20, of Dry Ridge, with theft by unlawful taking at 10:18 p.m. July 14 at Wal-Mart.
Officer David Osborne investigated an accident at 5:58 p.m. on July 15 on Humes Ridge Road. The drivers involved was Mark A. Middendorf, 44, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Chevrolet.
Officer David Osborne charged Joshua R. Spaulding, 29, of Dry Ridge, with theft by unlawful taking at 7:58 p.m. July 15 at Wal-Mart.
Williamstown officers also charged out of county residents with assault, expired boat registration and pulling a person skiing and a person tubing, three counts,  without an observer. Officer also executed a warrant for Daviess County and investigated an accident involving an out of county resident.
