Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 2:24 p.m. April 22 on Short Race Street. The drivers involved were Joshua W. Franks, 24, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1996 Jeep and Sharon N. Merill, 54, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Chevrolet.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 8:41 a.m. April 25 on Broadway. The driver involved was Brent D. Taypor, 25, of Falmouth, driving a 1998 Chevrolet.
Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant, for Rebehak L. McCann, 19, of Williamstown, for failure to maintain insurance, at 2 p.m. April 26 on McCoy Road. McCann was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 12:02 p.m. April 28 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Richard R. Knock, 72, of Union, driving a 2006 BMW and Dawn R. Barton, 31, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Pontiac.
Chief Rick Kells charged Shannon L. Adams, 42, of Williamstown, with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting at 3 p.m. April 29 on Ferguson Boulevard. Adams was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Matt Boshears investigated an accident at 3:30 p.m. April 20 on Gardnersville Road. The driver involved was James R. Simon, Jr., 29, of Crittenden, driving a 1996 Chevrolet.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 12:02 a.m. April 23 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Rachel A. Nehring, 19, of Williamstown, driving a 2009 Ford.
Deputy Mike Wright charged Chelsea A. Eibeck, 21, of Williamstown, with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting at 5:43 p.m. April 25 on Ferguson Boulevard. Eibeck was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a Pendleton County warrant, for Lisa L. Younger, 35, of Crittenden, for probation violation, at 11:50 p.m. April 26 on Barnes Road. Younger was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 3:14 p.m. April 26 on Dry Ridge-Mt. Zion Road. The driver involved was Michael T. McHugh, 35, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Honda.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Charles E. McCarthy, 23, of Dry Ridge, for theft/stolen credit cards, at 12:20 a.m. April 27 on Barnes Road. McCarthy was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Brian Maines executed a warrant, for Andre S. Kinman, 20, of Crittenden, for theft by unlawful taking/firearm, at 2:07 p.m. April 27, on Barnes Road. Kinman was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke charged Michael E. Croy, 49, of Corinth, with alcohol intoxication, at 4:52 a.m. April 28 on Baker-Williams Road. Croy was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Terry Osborne executed a warrant for Robert Elliott, 28, of Williamstown, for assault fourth degree, at 6:26 p.m. April 29 on Barnes Road. Elliott was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright charged Adrienne N. Ritter, 21, of Crittenden, with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting at 7:48 p.m. April 30 on Ferguson Boulevard. Ritter was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a Kenton County warrant for Dustin W. Seigler, 24, of Crittenden, for robbery, at 11:48 p.m. April 30 on Barley Circle. Seigler was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke investigated an accident at 12:28 a.m. May 1 on Knoxville Road. The drivers involved were Trista D. Bowen, 28, of Falmouth, driving a 1999 Ford, Danielle C. Miller, 31, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1993 Honda and Colton A. Partin, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Chevrolet. Chief Rick Kells charged Miller with disorderly conduct at 1:50 p.m. April 28 on S. Main Street. Miller was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke charged Gary S. Wolford, 33, of Williamstown, with assault fourth degree at 3:26 a.m. May 1 on Stewartsville Road. Wolford was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office served 83 summons/subpoenas, served 50 hours in court, served seven emergency protective orders, investigated seven accidents involving out of county residents, executed four warrants for out of county residents and drove 105 miles transporting prisoners.
 

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Tim Vinal investigated an accident at 10:54 a.m. April 26 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were an unknown hit-and-run driver and Rebecca Burney, 32, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2004 Chevrolet.
Trooper Mctavish McDonald investigated an accident at 10:30 a.m. April 27 on Reed Kinman Road. The drivers involved were Melanie Lawson, 42, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2011 Thom and Vicki Reekers, 38, of Williamstown, driving a 199 Mercury.
Kentucky State Police charged Jamie C. Manuel, 29, of Dry Ridge, with speeding, operating on suspended license, displaying fictitious operator’s license and criminal possession of forged instrument at 10:51 p.m. April 27 on Wildlife Road.
Kentucky State Police charged Charles Neal, 34, of Crittenden, with unlawful distribution of methamphetamine precursor at 12:27 a.m. April 28 on Hampshire Drive. Neal was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Joshua Whitton investigated an accident at 4:15 a.m. April 28 on Baker-Williams Road. The driver involved was Michael Croy, 50, of Corinth, driving a 2010 Dodge.
Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident at 7:57 p.m. April 28. The drivers involved were Kevin Waddell, 25, of Crittenden, driving a 2009 Ford and Ronald Davis, 47, of Richmond, Ky. driving a 2010 Kia.
Kentucky State Police charged Claudia Croy, 46, of Corinth, with alcohol intoxication at 6:18 a.m. April 28 on Baker Williams Road. Croy was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a Kenton County warrant for Phillip E. Tubbs, of Corinth, at 4:11 a.m. April 29 on Owenton Road. Tubbs was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Ronald Gilbert investigated an accident at 9:41 p.m. April 29 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Christina Kurtz, 26, of Williamstown, driving a 1995 Infinity and Carla Anders, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Hyundai.
Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 9 a.m. April 29. The drivers involved were Mason Barker, Jr., 66, of Crittenden, driving a 1996 Chevrolet and Mary Drysdale, 50, of Crittenden, driving a 2006 Infinity.
Kentucky State Police charged Steven Hornsby, 30, of Crittenden, with danger to self or others at 12:48 a.m. April 30 on N. Main Street. Hornsby was transported to St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence.
Kentucky State Police executed warrants for Erick Deck, 29, of Dry Ridge, for reckless driving, driving under the influence, first, failure to have license in possession, improper registration plate, possession of controlled substance second degree, first offense, tampering with physical evidence and failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change at 6:18 a.m. April 30 on Bypass Road. Deck was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 3:04 p.m. April 30. the drivers involved were Daniel Foxworth, 29, of Georgetown, driving a 2004 Ford and Wayne Evans, 58, of Sadieville, driving a 2006 Chevrolet.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Jeremiah McComas, 29, of Dry Ridge at 2:42 a.m. May 1 on KY 177.

Williamstown

Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 9:25 a.m. April 25 on Falmouth Street. The driver involved was Christopher S. Howard, 25, of Williamstown, driving a 1999 Ford.
Office Ron Perkins charged Donald R. Loper, 30, of Dry Ridge, with assault fourth degree at 7:17 p.m. April 27 on Michigan Avenue.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins charged David H. Campbell, 32, of Williamstown, with receiving stolen property valued less than $500 at 1:56 p.m. April 27 on N. Main Street.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 8 a.m. April 27 on N. Main Street. The driver involved was Kevin L. Lawrence, 49, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1989 General Motors Corporation and a parked 2002 Toyota owned by Luanna S. McCormick, of Williamstown.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 2:30 p.m. April 29 on S. Main Street. The driver involved was Genzey K. Spegal, 36, of Williamstown, driving a 1986 Chevrolet and a parked 2008 Dodge owned by Richard A. Colvin of Falmouth.
Williamstown Police Department charged an out of county resident with receiving stolen property valued less than $500.
