Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Derek M. Blades, 18, of Williamstown, for failure to pay fines, at 1p.m. on Sept. 28 on Blackburn Drive. Blades was also charged with theft by unlawful taking and a pre-trial diversion  violation. Blades was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 7:11 p.m. Sept 26 on Gardenersville Road. The driver involved was Brandon D. Hicks, 19,  of Crittenden, driving a 2005 Ford.
Deputy Bobby Webb charged Peeylair J. Mott, 23, of Dry Ridge with failure to appear in court, at 11:00 p.m. Sept. 27 at Grant County Justice Center. Mott was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office served 76 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, executed six emergency protective orders, investigated two accidents involving out of county residents, executed eight warrants involving out an county resident and drove 780 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Carrie Faulkner, 43, at 4:17 p.m. Sept. 26 on Lebanon Road. Faulkner was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Joshua Jones, 18, with alcohol intoxication at 8:52 p.m. Sept. 26 on Dixie Highway. Jones was lodges at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Jeffrey A. Dixon Jr., 24, of Crittenden, with alcohol intoxication  first citation at 10:33 p.m. Sept. 27 on Mockingbird Lane.
Kentucky State Police charged Danielle Karshner, 23, of Berry, with failure to luminate lamps, improper turn, driving under influence first, at 2:58 a.m. Sept 28 on Dixie Highway. Karshner was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Thomas Whiteker, 30, of Dry Ridge, with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to improper signal, improper equipment, obstructed vision, rear liscense not illuminated, no insurance and driving under influence at, 2:45 a.m. Sept 29 on Taft Highway. Whiteker was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Jessica Stewart, 31, of Dry Ridge, for heroin possession first and possible drug paraphernalia, at 6:33 a.m. Sept. 29 on Greenville Road. Stewart was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged David L. Jones, 28, of Dry Ridge, with possession of controlled substance first degree, first offense heroin possession and possible drug paraphernalia first offense, at 6:36 a.m. Sept 29 on Greenville Road. Jones was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Justin W. Brown, 31, of Dry Ridge, with receiving stolen property valued more than $10,000, at 10:50 p.m. Sept. 30 on Warsaw Road. Brown was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Christopher R. Manning, 23, of Dry Ridge, at 12:19 a.m. Oct. 1 on Sherman Mt. Zion Road. Manning was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Barry E. Cavins, 51, of Dry Ridge, with careless driving, failure to produce insurance card, driving under influence, at 2:25 a.m. Oct 1 on Elliston Mt. Zion Road. Cavins was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Jeven Kedding investigated an accident at 3:23 p.m. Sept. 26 on Lebanon Road. The drivers involved were Judith Kelly, 53, of Crittenden, driving a 2004 Chevrolet and Carrie Faulkner, 43, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2005 Chevrolet.
Trooper Jeven Kedding investigated an accident at 5:55 p.m. Sept. 26 on S. Main Street. The drivers involved were Melissa Dawson, 31, of Demossville, driving a 2001 Pontiac and Alvertie Blaine, 50, of Crittenden, driving a 2004 Pontiac.
Trooper Jeven Kedding investigated an accident at 11:50 p.m. Sept. 28 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Thomas Whiteker, 30, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1989 Ford and a parked 2002 SAA.
Trooper Joshua Whitton investigated an accident at 8:50 p.m. Sept 29 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were an unknown hit-and-run driver and Christopher Jones, 33, of Corinth, driving a 2001 Ford.
Trooper Micheal Snowden investigated an accident at 5:49 p.m. Sept. 30 on Broadway.  The drivers involved were Zachary Howard, 20, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1995 Ford, a juvenile, of Dry Ridge,  driving a 2004 Toyota, and Glen Montoure, 45, of Falmouth, driving a 2008 Dodge.

Williamstown

Officer Chris Hankins cited William J. Patterson, 38, of Williamstown, with operating a motor vehicle on suspended license through S.C. 7:45 a.m. Sept. 27 on Heekin Road.
Officer Brad Morris cited Corey D. Hunt, 26, of Dry Ridge, with having only one headlight, at 8:39 p.m. Sept 26. on Dry Ridge Bypass.
Officer Brad Morris charged Brian K. Rippons, 34, of Williamstown, with disorderly conduct, second, alcohol intoxication in public place, criminal littering, at 10:33 p.m. Sept. 27 on Paris Street.
Officer Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 1:20 p.m. Sept 30. on High Street. The driver involved was Janna Allphin, 27, of Williamstown. Officer Chris Hankins cited Allphin with failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change and failure to maintain required insurance.
Officer Ron Perkins charged James R. Simons Jr., 34, of Corinth, with assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence, minor injury. Simons was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Officer Robert Reed investigated an accident at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 25 on Interstate 75. The driver involved was Ashley N. Kinman, 16, of Williamstown, driving a 1995 Toyota 4Runner.
Officer Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 7:28 a.m. Sept 27. on Heekin Road. The drivers involved were Micheal J. Albrecht, 67, of Owenton, driving a 2008 Grant County School bus and William J. Patterson, 38, of Williamstown, driving a 1997 Toyota Corolla. Patterson was charged with operating a motor vehicle on a a suspended license.
Officer Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 1:13 p.m. Sept. 30. on High Street. The drivers involved were Janna L. Allphin, 27, of Williamstown, driving a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer and Joshua D. Saylor, 22, of Williamstown, driving a 1195 Honda Civic.
