Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Charles R. Partin, 42, of Williamstown, for theft by deception and criminal mischief, at 1 p.m. Sept. 23 on Ferguson Boulevard. Partin was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Devon Sanders, 20, of Williamstown, with theft by unlawful taking, at 11 a.m. Sept. 23 on McCoy Road. Sanders was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 8:03 a.m. Sept. 18 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Deanna Slaughter, 50, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Toyota and Steven B. Krug, 24, of Highland Heights, driving a 2012 Chevrolet. 

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 12:37 p.m. Sept. 19 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Raymond C. McKinney, 40, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2003 Chevrolet and Frances Eversole, 62, of Morning View, driving a 2005 Chevrolet. 

 

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Kevin Burke charged Brett Ratliff, 19, of Dry Ridge, with burglary in the third degree, at 5:12 a.m. Sept. 24 on Cobblestone Drive. Ratliff was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Deputy Kevin Burke charged Jonathan Robbins, 19, of Dry Ridge, with burglary in the third degree, at 5:12 a.m. Sept. 24 on Cobblestone Drive. Robbins was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Deputy Kevin Burke charged Aaron K. Ware, 19, of Crittenden, with burglary in the third degree, at 5:52 p.m. Sept. 24 on Harlan Street. Ware was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Sgt. Brian Maines executed a warrant for Bob A. Lawson, 34, of Jonesville, for parole violation, at 9:01 a.m. Sept. 25 on Folsom-Jonesville Road. Lawson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Deputy Bobby Webb executed  a warrant for Braden J. Bauwens, 28, of Williamstown, for probation violation, at 11:47 a.m. Sept. 28 on Barnes Road. Bauwens was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 6:39 a.m. Sept. 24 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were Lori M. Jones, 49, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 General Motors and Peter Gurski, 51, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Ford. 

Col. Troy Hagedorn investigated an accident at 5:50 a.m. Sept. 24 on Lebanon Road. The driver involved was Bobby J. Young, 50, of Crittenden, driving a 2013 Ford. 

The sheriff’s office served 51 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, executed four emergency protective orders involving out-of-county residents, executed three warrants involving out-of-county residents and drove 1,030 miles transporting prisoners.

 

Kentucky State Police

Kentucky State Police charged Lonzie W. Maggard-Owen, 48, of Dry Ridge, with operating on a suspended liscense, no registration plates and no registration receipt, at 11:24 p.m. Sept. 23 on Kenney Road. Maggard-Owen was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Christian Duncan, 23, of Corinth, at 8:01 p.m. Sept. 27 on I-75. Duncan was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Kentucky State Police charged Randall S. Stanley, 25, of Dry Ridge, with possession of a controlled substance, at 11:52 p.m. Sept. 28 on Gouge Drive. Stanley was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Trooper McTavish McDonald investigated an accident at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 25 on Lawrenceville Road. The driver involved was Rodney R. Voland, 41, of Williamstown, driving a 2011 Ford. 

Trooper McTavish McDonald investigated an accident at 1:49 p.m. Sept. 25 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were William Carnes, 57, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Chevrolet and Julie Labombard, 45, of Williamstown, driving a 2008 Chevrolet. 

 

Williamstown

Officer Brad Morris cited Daniel P. O’Nan, 48, of Dry Ridge, with no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure to produce insurance card and failure of owner to maintain required insurance, at 7:25 p.m. Sept. 21 on Blackburn Drive. 

Officer David Osborne executed a warrant for Shane Howell, 21, of Dry Ridge, for parole violation, at 3:46 a.m. Sept. 25 on Broadway Street. Howell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Officer Brad Morris charged Larri R. Flege, 43, of Williamstown, with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to give right of way to emergency stopped vehicle and possession of an open alcoholic container in motor vehicle, at 10:17 p.m. Sept. 26 on Interstate 75. Flege was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Officer Brad Morris cited Christopher A. Back, 18, of Corinth, with improper start from a start position and careless driving, at 9:24 p.m. Sept. 28 on Blackburn Drive. 

Officer David Osborne executed a warrant for Derrick M. Anglin, 27, of Dry Ridge, for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, at 4:54 a.m. Sept. 29 on McCoy Road. Anglin was also charged with theft of services and alcohol intoxication in a public place. Anglin was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. 

Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 16 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Ida B. Gutman, 44, of Williamstown, driving a 2000 Buick and Kelly E. Walker, 33, of Williamstown, driving a 2000 Hyundai. 

Williamstown Police investigated an accident involving an out-of-county resident.
