Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 3:53 p.m. Oct. 2 on Broadway in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Adam S. Walters, 21, of Dry Ridge driving a 2002 Chevrolet and Joseph C. Lowe, 43, of Dry Ridge driving a 1999 Chevrolet.

Deputy Brian Maines investigated an accident at 6:53 p.m. Oct. 2 on Ferguson Boulevard in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Peggy P. Penick, 72, of Dry Ridge driving a 2001 Buick and Rebecca J. Nehring, 17, of Williamstown driving a 2007 Chevrolet.

Deputy Andy Reeves charged Peeylair J. Mott, 21, of Crittenden with assault in the fourth degree and failure to notify Department of Transportation of change of address at 8:14 a.m. Oct. 11.

Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Brian A. Taylor, 30, of Corinth at 3:48 p.m. Oct. 11.

Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Bobby L. Callahan, 27, of Dry Ridge at 9:17 p.m. Oct. 13. Callahan was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 10:40 a.m. Oct. 14 on Mount Zion Road in Sherman. The driver involved was Andrew Darrell, 18, of Dry Ridge driving a 2001 Chevrolet that struck a tree.

Sgt. Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 5:56 a.m. Oct. 15 on Dixie Highway in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were James G. King, 41, of Warsaw driving a 2004 International and George J. Carter, 33, of Dry Ridge driving a 1994 Buick.

Deputy Mike Wright charged John W. Price, 18, of Crittenden with burglary in the first and second degree at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 16.

Deputy Mike Wright charged Jacob W. Sharp, 19, of Dry Ridge with burglary in the first degree at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 16.

Deputy Mike Wright charged Nicholas T. Bishop, 21, of Dry Ridge with burglary in the first and second degree and tampering with physical evidence at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 16.

Deputy Mike Wright charged Robert W. Mullins, 18, of Crittenden with burglary in the first and second degree at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 16.

The sheriff’s office served 60 summons/subpoenas, spent 10 hours serving in court, executed two warrants involving out-of-county residents, investigated eight accidents involving out-of-county residents and traveled 288 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Steven Robb investigated an accident at 6:12 p.m. Oct. 11 on Center Ridge Road in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Larry Becker Jr., 41, of Williamtown driving a 1997 Dodge and Gary Stauffer, 58, of Demossville driving a 1990 Ford.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Nicholas Dearing, 27, of Dry Ridge at 12:39 p.m. Oct. 12.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Raymond Fugate, 24, of Crittenden at 6:01 p.m. Oct. 12.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for William Robertson, 18, of Crittended at 10:38 p.m. Oct. 12.

Kentucky State Police charged Sidney Payne, 23, of Crittenden with operating on a suspended license, no other state registration, failure of non-owner to maintain insurance and residents not to use license of other state at 11:29 p.m. Oct. 13.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Ryan Dalton, 19, of Crittenden at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 13.

Trooper Mctavish McDonald investigated an accident at 7:34 p.m. Oct. 14 on Dixie Highway in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Holly Garnett, 36, of Crittenden driving a 1992 Nissan and Cleo Northcutt, 17, of Williamstown driving a 2003 Ford.

Trooper Jason Joseph investigated an accident at 3:10 p.m Oct. 14 on Knoxville Road in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Corrie Eversole, 63, of Dry Ridge driving a 2006 Chrysler and Melissa Krupinski, 18, of Williamstown driving a 2000 Chevrolet.

Trooper Joshua Whitton investigated an accident at 12:45 a.m. Oct. 15 on Crittenden Mount Zion Road in Crittenden. The driver involved was Lesvan Trejo Ortega, 22, of Dry Ridge driving a 1998 Ford. Ortega was later charged with driving under the influnce, no operator’s license, license to be in possession and reckless driving at 3:03 a.m. Oct. 15.

Trooper Joshua Whitton investigated an accident at 3:18 a.m. Oct. 15 on Taft Highway in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Eryn Criss, 18, of Williamstown driving a 2000 Ford.

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 10:49 a.m. Oct. 15 on Taft Highway in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Yvonne P. Rummel, 67, of Williamstown driving a 1998 Chevrolet.

Kentucky State Police charged Matthew Toensmeyer, 23, of Demossville with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at 4:17 p.m. Oct. 16.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 17 on Dixie Highway in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Tina Preedom, 36, of Crittenden driving a 2007 Toyota.

Kentucky State Police charged Gary Harville of Dry Ridge with driving under the influence at 1:17 a.m. Oct. 18.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Teddy L. Brewer, 33, of Demossville at 4:18 p.m. Oct. 18.

 

Williamstown Police

Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 11:10 a.m. Oct. 13 on Barnes Road in Williamstown. The driver involved was Stellar B. Meyers, 77, of Glencoe driving a 1999 Pontiac that struck a parked 1989 Chevrolet owned by Candace Brewer.

Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 11:56 p.m. Oct. 13 on Barnes Road in Williamstown. The driver involved was Lennis J. King, 70, of Williamstown driving a 1994 GM that struck a parked 1989 Chevrolet owned by Candace Brewer.

Officer Ron Perkins executed a warrant for Timothy Vickers, 22, of Williamstown at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 13.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins charged Melissa F. Spenny, 39, of Berry with theft by unlawful taking shoplifting and theft by unlawful taking from automobile at 8:35 p.m. Oct. 16.

Sgt. Robert Reed charged a 17-year old juvenile of Williamstown with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence at 5 a.m. Oct. 17.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17 on Dry Ridge Bypass in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Evelyn P. Kannady, 45, of Dry Ridge driving a 1997 Chevrolet that struck a guard rail.

Officer David Osborne charged Stephen T. McGraw, 22, of Williamstown with failure to dim headlights, one headlight, license to be in possession and failure to produce insurance card at 8:23 p.m. Oct. 17.

Officer David Osborne charged William D. Wood, 18, of Berry with one headlight and failure to produce insurance card at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 17.

Officer David Osborne charged Teresa F. Daugherty, 46, of Dry Ridge with one headlight at 10:06 p.m. Oct. 17.

Officer David Osborne charged Amy L. Pence, 32, of Williamstown with speeding 20 mph over the limit at 10:33 a.m. Oct. 18.

Officer David Osborne charged Brent M. Hanson, 22, of Williamstown with failure to wear seat belts and expired temporary plate at 11:51 a.m. Oct. 18.

Officer David Osborne charged Billy J. Putthoff, 27, of Dry Ridge with no rear view mirror, no registration plates,no registration receipt and obstructed vision at 12:57 p.m. Oct. 18.

Officer David Osborne charged Jarrod A. Richardson, 26, of Dry Ridge with speeding 17 mph over the limit at 1:24 p.m. Oct. 18.

Officer David Osborne charged Daniel W. Lyons, 33, of Dry Ridge with theft by unlawful taking at 2:09 p.m. Oct. 18.

Officer Brian Flanagan investigated an accident at 3:50 p.m. Oct. 18 on Warsaw Road in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Caleb G. Kinmon, 18, of Dry Ridge driving a 2005 Pontiac that struck a parked 2004 Chrysler owned by Chelsea Beck and a parked 1994 Toyota owned by Baker Gordon, Jr.

Williamstown police issued a citation for one headlight involving an out of county resident.
