Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 1:28 p.m. Jan. 11 on Business Boulevard. The drivers involved were Alexander R. Greenwell, 19, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1995 General Motors and Raymond C. Frman, III, 36, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Ford. Greenwell was charged with failure to produce insurance card.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 11:18 a.m. Jan. 11 on Broadway. The drivers involved were Lou G. Burke, III, 23, of Falmouth, driving a 1998 Chevrolet and David A. Livengood, 21, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Volkswagen.
Officer Rick Kells investigated an accident at 7:43 a.m. Jan. 14 on S. Main Street. The drivers involved were Christopher T. Maines, 32, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Ford and Cynthia C. Hinton, 24, of Berry, driving a 2002 Isuzu.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 3 a.m. Jan. 14 on Taylor Lane. The driver  involved was an unknown hit-and-run driver and a parked 2002 Ford owned by Billy J. Powers.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant, for failure to appear at court and nonpayment of fines, for David A. Nelson, Jr., 32, of Crittenden, at 11 p.m. Jan. 15 on Barnes Road. Nelson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 11:39 a.m. Jan. 16 on Burgess Road. The drivers involved were Carmella R. Sent, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Dodge and Tyra J. Martin, 36, of Williamstown, driving a 1996 Saturn.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for, probation violation and failure to appear at Boone County court, for Lance T. Ashcraft, 40, of Dry Ridge, at 1:33 a.m. Jan. 17 on Larkin Lane.
Deputy Robert Morgan executed a warrant, for manufacturing methamphetamine, for Ryan J. Draper, 25, of Dry Ridge, at 3:09 p.m. Jan. 17 in Williamstown. Draper was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant, for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, for Ashley Jones, 22, of Crittenden, at 6:43 a.m. Jan. 18 on Harlan Street.
Sgt. Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 1:43 p.m. Jan. 19 on Corinth Road. The driver involved was Jeffrey W. Whalen, 45, of Corinth, driving a 1999 Jeep and a 1997 Toyota owned by Christina Holloway of Bellevue.
Deputy Scott Conrad investigated an accident at 6:46 p.m. Jan. 19 on Jonesville Road. The driver involved was William C. Martin, Jr., 46, of Williamstown, driving a 2011 Chevrolet.
Deputy Scott Conrad executed a warrant, for theft by unlawful taking and theft of services, for Jonathan W. Thurman, 31, of Crittenden, at 2:01 p.m. Jan. 19 on Vincent Boulevard. Thurman was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Terry Osborne executed a warrant, for probation violation, for Tonya A. Hopper-Manello, 38, of Williamstown, at 4 p.m. Jan. 19 on Barnes Road. Hopper-Manello was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright executed a warrant, for probation violation, of David A. Farley, 57, of Williamstown, at 10:19 p.m. Jan. 20 on Hampshire Drive.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for, nonsupport, for Timothy P. Wehrman, 33, of Dry Ridge, at 9:10 a.m. Jan. 21 on Reeves Road. Wehrman was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Brian Maines charged Jeremy M. Chappell, 21, of Dry Ridge, with assault second degree at 5:33 p.m. Jan. 21 on Broadway. Chappell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Brian Maines charged Thomas E. Day, 19, of Dry Ridge, with assault second degree at 5:33 p.m. Jan. 21 on Broadway. Day was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 4:36 a.m. Jan. 21 on Sherman-Mt. Zion Road. The driver involved was Joshua Bailey, 24, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Chevrolet.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 1 p.m. Jan. 21 on Ruark Road. The driver involved was Charles A. Chamberlin, 37, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Toyota.
The sheriff’s office served 65 summons/subpoenas, served 35 hours in court, served two emergency protective orders, investigated four accidents involving out of county residents and executed three arrests/warrants for out of county residents and drove 784 miles transporting prisoners.
 

Williamstown

Officer David Osborne charged Terry L. Jackson, 50, of Corinth, with expired registration plates, expired registration receipt and failure to produce insurance card at 5:55 p.m. Jan. 16 on N. Main Street.
Assistant Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 10:31 p.m. Jan. 18 on S. Main Street. The drivers involved were an unknown hit-and-run driver and Justin S. Mochabee, 21, of Williamstown, driving a 1992 Dodge.
Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 19 on Barnes Road. The drivers involved were Mark W. Burton, 52 of Falmouth, driving a 1989 Geo and Alonzo P. Lawrence, 79, of Williamstown, driving a 1991 Tempo.
Officer David Osborne investigated an accident at 6:26 p.m. Jan. 20 on Cherry Hill Drive. The driver involved was Amanda Fayard, 31, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Pontiac.
Officer David Osborne investigated an accident at 4:23 p.m. Jan. 20 on Barnes Road. The driver involved was a juvenile, 17, of Corinth, driving a 2008 Kia.
Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 9:35 a.m. Jan. 20 on Interstate 75. The driver involved was David G. Manning, 39, of Williamstown, driving a 2005 Chevrolet.
Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 20 on Cherry Hill Drive. The driver involved was Michael B. Conrad, 26, of Williamstown, driving a 2000 Ford and a parked 2001 Ford owned by Mary Mullins of Williamstown.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins charged Christopher M. Webster, 27, of Williamstown, with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, possession of controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine and buy/possession of drug paraphernalia.
Asst. Chief Chris Hankins executed a warrant, for failure to appear at court, for Robert W. Webster, Jr., 30, of Williamstown, at 3:54 pm. Jan. 20 on Barnes Road. Webster was also charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, two counts of possession of controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of controlled substance third degree, first offense (drug unspecified) and buying/possession of drug paraphernalia.
Williamstown Police Department charged an out of county resident with no registration plates.
