Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Mike Garvey investigated an accident which occurred at 7 a.m. June 20 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Angelene Hicks, 30, of Williamstown, driving a 1995 Toyota that struck a guardrail.

Deputy Lee Jacobs investigated an accident which occurred at 7:15 p.m. June 20 on Lemon Northcutt Road. The drivers involved were Holly Breeden, 23, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Acura and Terry Crouch, 21, of Crittenden, driving a 1997 Chevrolet.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Brian Kippons, 32, of Dry Ridge, at 9:40 p.m. on June 22 at Grant County Detention Center. Kippons was charged with failure to pay fines.

Deputy Terry Osborne executed a warrant for Jeremy Kermickle, 21, Dry Ridge, at 2:58 a.m. June 23 on Taft Highway. Kermickle was charged with theft by unlawful taking. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Capt. Gary Humphrey executed a warrant for James McNees, 24, of Crittenden, at 8:30 a.m. June 23 in Crittenden. McNees was charged with contempt of court. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Mike Garvey executed a warrant for Dusty Wilson, 26, of Williamstown, at 10:30 a.m. on June 23 at the Grant County Detention Center. Wilson was charged with non-payment of fines.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident which occurred at 11:39 a.m. June 23 on Crittenden-Mount Zion Road. The drivers involved were Evan Mangold, 17, of Independence, driving a 1995 Chevrolet and Crystal Kinman, 26, of Williamstown, driving a 2006 Chevrolet.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident which occurred at 12:04 p.m. June 24 on Sayers Street in Crittenden. The driver involved was Dwayne Smith, 47, of Crittenden, driving a 2001 Chevrolet that struck a parked 2005 Chrysler, owned by Tamara Polly, of Florence.

Capt. Gary Humphrey executed a warrant for Austin Workman, 19, of Williamstown, at 1:30 p.m. June 25 at Grant County Detention Center. Workman was charged with failure to appear to court in Mason County.

Capt. Gary Humphrey executed 10 warrants out of Montgomery County for Abdal Hakim, 47, of Williamstown at 1:30 p.m. June 25 at Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 62 summons/subpoenas, spent 12 hours serving in court, investigated two accidents involving out-of-county residents, served three emergency protective orders, executed two warrants for out-of-county residents and traveled 754 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident which occurred at 1:27 p.m. June 14 on Bypass Road. The drivers involved were George Davis, 71, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Saturn and Michael Strunk, 28, of Edgewood, driving a 2006 Chevrolet.

State police charged Pedro Maldonado-Hernandez, no age given, with driving under the influence, careless driving, no operator’s license and failure to produce insurance card at 3:55 a.m. June 21 on Interstate 75. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident which occurred at 6:09 p.m. June 22 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Jose Moreno, no age given, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Ford and Rachel Neal, 29, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1988 Chevrolet.

State police charged Jose Moreno Delgado, 28, of Dry Ridge, with leaving the scene of an accident, operating on an expired OLN and failure to produce an insurance card at 10:26 p.m. June 22 on Humes Ridge Road. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

State police charged Tommy Beach, 19, of Corinth, with an inadequate silencer and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 9:38 p.m. June 23 on Corinth Road. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

State police charged Paul Chever, 28, of Crittenden, with distribution of oxycodone, brandishing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, possession of firearm by drug user and intimidation by physical force at 5:36 p.m. June 24 on Harlan Street. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident which occurred at 10:40 p.m. June 24 on Race Street. The driver involved was Rebecca Brown, 39, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Ford that struck an unoccupied 2002 Ford.

Trooper John Hawkins investigated an accident which occurred at 10:17 a.m. June 25 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Michael Warren, 43, of Demossville, driving a 2003 Freightliner and Carolyn Welch, 62, of Cincinnati, driving a 1992 Buick.

State police executed a warrant for Timothy Estep, 21, of Crittenden at 3:57 p.m. June 25 on Barnes Road. He was charged with a probation violation.

 

Williamstown Police

Officer Brian Flanagan investigated an accident which occurred at 11:30 p.m. June 19 on Dry Ridge-Mount Zion Road. The driver involved was Jeffrey Purcell, 40, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2006 Yamaha.

Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident which occurred at 7:08 p.m. June 22 on North Main Street. The drivers involved were Earl Johnson, 70, of Williamstown, driving a 2004 Chevrolet and Adam Neff, 23, of Owenton, driving a 2006 Honda.

Officer David Osborne charged Jerry Miller II, 40, of Berry, with speeding 15 mph over the limit at 9:47 p.m. June 25 on South Main Street.

Officer Brian Flanagan charged Daniel Simpson, 22, of Dry Ridge, with license not in possession at 11:55 p.m.June 27 on Knoxville Road.
