Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Brian Maines investigated an accident which occurred at 5:15 p.m. on June 15 on Blackburn Lane. The drivers involved were Tracey A. Simpson, 42, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Jeep and Cecil H. Lewis, 70, of Monroe, MI, driving a 2007 Jaguar.

Capt. Gary Humphrey charged Deanna R. Lucas, 26, of Dry Ridge, with 11 counts of theft by unlawful taking at 1:30 p.m. on June 16 on Violet Road in Crittenden.

Deputy Terry Osborne charged Jeffrey Jones, 29, of Dry Ridge, with a probation violation at 8:55 p.m. on June 16 at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Terry Osborne charged Brianne A. Meyer, 19, of Williamstown, with disorderly conduct at 5:51 p.m. on June 19 on Turner Road. Meyer was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 74 summons/subpoenas, spent 19.5 hours serving in court, investigated two accidents involving out-of-county residents, served one emergency protective order and traveled 430 miles transporting prisoners.

 

Kentucky State Police

State police executed a warrant for Santiago Ramirez, 29, at 7:47 a.m. on June 15 on Dry Ridge Road. Ramirez was charged with expired registration plate and receipt, no insurance and no operator’s license. He was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

State Police charged Jennifer Manalo, 18, of Dry Ridge, with alcohol intoxication. The arrest occurred at 4:45 a.m. on June 17 on Barley Circle in Crittenden. She was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

State police executed a warrant for Jeremiah Rose, 29, of Corinth, at 11:47 p.m. on June 17 on Barnes Road.

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident which occurred at 4:06 p.m. on June 18 on Dunn Mazie Road. The driver involved was Perry Cain, 58, of Corinth, driving a 1996 Toyota.

State police charged Joshua C. Hill, 27, of Crittenden, with failure to use turn signal, failure to produce insurance card and driving under the influence second offense. The arrest occurred at 6:05 p.m. on June 18 on Broadway in Dry Ridge. Hill was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

State police charged Thomas Hearn, 20, of Jonesville, with possession of a controlled substance second degree. The arrest occurred at 4:30 p.m. on June 19 on Ky. 36. Hearn was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper McTavish McDonald investigated an accident which occurred at 1:12 a.m. on June 19 on Sherman-Newtown Road. The driver involved was Allison Jackson, 18, of Crittenden, driving a 1998 Ford.

Trooper Delzie Kelly investigated an accident which occurred at 1:31 p.m. on June 19 on Lebanon Road. The driver involved was Karen Pinales, 39, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1997 Toyota.

State police charged Shirley F. Carson, 43, of Berry, with alcohol intoxication. The arrest occurred at 10:44 p.m. on June 20 on Blanket Creek Road. Carson was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper John Hawkins investigated an accident which occurred at 11:35 a.m. on June 21 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Emily Schubert, 18, of Edgewood, driving a 2006 Toyota and Connie Campbell, 40, of Williamstown, driving a 2008 Dodge.

State police charged Monica Calmes, 50, of Corinth, with fourth degree assault. The arrest occurred at 2:57 p.m. on June 21 on Marathon Drive.

Trooper John Hawkins investigated an accident which occurred at 5:04 p.m. on Baker Williams Road. The drivers involved were Race Stork II, 18, of Crittenden, driving a 1992 Pontiac and Joshua Brown, 23, of Corinth, driving a 2004 Chevrolet.

 

 

Williamstown Police

Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident which occurred at 5:48 p.m. on June 10 on Main Street in Williamstown. The drivers involved were Cheryl Jeffers, 42, of Williamstown, driving a 1997 Saturn and Timothy Chapman, 38, of Williamstown, driving a 1994 Toyota. Jeffers was later charged with failure of owner to maintain required insurance and operating on a suspended or revoked license.

Officer Brian Flanagan investigated an accident which occurred at 9:29 p.m. on June 14 on Taft Highway in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Troy Lunsford, 43, of Milton, Ill., driving a 2004 Ford and Nicholas T. Bishop, 21, of Crittenden, driving a 1995 Chevrolet.

Assistant Chief Chris Hankins executed a warrant for Christina M. Miller, 40, of Williamstown at 8:30 a.m. on June 16 on Main Street. Miller was charged with fourth degree assault.

Assistant Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident which occurred at 8:56 a.m. on June 18 on Main Street in Williamstown. The drivers involved were Virginia M. Mulligan, 59, of Crittenden, driving a 2008 Cadillac and Rebecca D. Abney, 30, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Hyundai.

Officer David Osborne charged Troy Williams Jr., 45, of Demossville, with reckless driving and improper equipment at 5:31 p.m. on June 18 in Williamstown.

Officer David Osborne charged Mary S. Dalton, 46, of Williamstown, with disregarding a traffic control device at 6:37 p.m. on June 19.

Officer Ron Perkins charged Tonya Lucas, 30, of Williamstown, with no registration plates at 11:05 a.m. on June 20.
