Dry Ridge Police

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 10:45 a.m. June 20 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Lawrence D. Frost, 40, of Winchester, driving a 1995 Ford and a parked 1996 Chevrolet owned by Cheri L. Curry of Dry Ridge.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 9:15 a.m. June 23 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Kenneth Holland, 61, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Ford and a parked 2011 Toyota owned by Deborah Pollard Smith of Florence.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 1:10 p.m. June 24 on Blackburn Lane. The driver involved was Cynthia K. Linville, 51, of Carlisle, and a parked 2007 General Motors Corp. owned by Eric or Angela Williams of Dry Ridge.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Kevin Burke investigated an accident at 5:26 a.m. June 14 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Paul Gentry, 59, of London, driving a 2006 Peterbilt and Steve Cooper, 40, of Williamstown, driving a 2011 Ford.
Deputy Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 5:31 p.m. June 20 on N. Main Street. The driver involved was Billy Faulkner, 79, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Chevrolet.
Deputy Brian Maines executed a warrant for Adam R. Gibson, 27, of Williamstown, for failure to appear, at 1:28 p.m. June 20 on N. Main Street. Gibson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Tabitha Eversole, 36, of Williamstown, for parole violation, at 2:41 a.m. June 21 on Marcella Drive. Eversole was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright executed warrants for Vivian Abner, 37, of Williamstown, for failure to appear in court and failure to pay fines, at 2:45 p.m. June 21 on N. Main Street. Abner was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed two warrants for Dana Webb, 64, of Williamstown, for theft by unlawful taking, at 9:03 a.m. June 21 on Charlotte Heights. Webb was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for George E. Dawley, 35, of Williamstown, for failure to appear in court, at 9:55 a.m. June 21 on N. Main Street. Dawley was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Brian Maines executed a warrant for Matthew Ratliff, 19, of Williamstown, for receiving stolen property, at 1:51 p.m. June 23 on N. Main Street. Ratliff was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Terry Osborne charged Victor A. Rouse, 44, of Williamstown, with operating motor vehicle under the influence at 9:25 p.m. June 24 on I-75. Rouse was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Angela Merrill, 32, of Crittenden, for theft by deception valued less than $10,000, at 1:23 a.m. June 25 on Dixie Highway. Merrill was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Richard Roberts, 28, of Crittenden, for theft by deception valued less than $10,000, at 1:23 a.m. June 25 on Dixie Highway. Roberts was lodged at the Grant county Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office served 126 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, investigated three accidents involving out of county residents, executed five arrest warrants  for out of county residents and drove 225 miles transporting prisoners.

Williamstown Police

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins executed a warrant for James Jason Smith, 33, of Dry Ridge, for nonpayment of fines, at 11:21 a.m. June 21 on Barnes Road. Smith was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
The Williamstown Police Department investigated an accident involving an out of county resident, executed a warrant for an out of county resident and charged out of county residents with the following: speeding, holding left lane and no seat belt.
