Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 7:27 a.m. Aug. 16 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Marlon J. Kinsey, 42, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Ford and Bobby G. Kemper, 48, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Dodge.

Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant, for unlawful transaction with a minor, for Chris Wilson, 18, of Crittenden, at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 16 on McCoy Road. Wilson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Chief Rick Kells executed three warrants, for failure to pay fines, for Christopher S. Collett, 34, of Dry Ridge, at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 18 on McCoy Road. Collett was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant, hindering prosecution or apprehension, for Amber D. Hale, 23, of Dry Ridge, at 7:45 a.m. Aug. 20 on McCoy Road. Hale was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 7:23 a.m. Aug. 20 on N. Main Street. The driver involved was Harley J. Utter, Jr., 18, of Corinth, driving a 1992 Cadillac.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Mike Wright charged Nicholas Cornelius, 31, of Dry Ridge, with assault fourth degree at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 14 on Ten Mile Drive. Cornelius was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 77 summons/subpoenas, served 45 hours in court, served five emergency protective orders, executed five arrests/warrants for out of county residents and drove 530 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 9 on Arbor Drive. The drivers involved were Sara Sullivan, 19, of Cincinnati, driving a 2005 Chevrolet and Janice Thomas, 61, of Williamstown, driving a 2000 Chevrolet.

Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident at 5:04 p.m. Aug. 10 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Roger Bailey, 55, of Williamstown, driving a 1999 Saturn and Stuart Green, 27, of Henderson, Ky., driving a 1998 Chevrolet.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 11:17 a.m. Aug. 15 on Spears Lane. The drivers involved were Kenneth Taylor, 23, of Crittenden, driving a 2007 Honda and James Gifford, 46, of Crittenden, driving a 1994 General Motors.

Kentucky State Police charged Ruth A. Morris, 34, of Williamstown, with assault fourth degree and resisting arrest at 9:53 p.m. Aug. 19 on Adams Road.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Claude Kitchen, 27, of Crittenden, at 10:31 p.m. Aug. 19 on Crittenden Mt. Zion Road. Kitchen was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Scott Allen investigated an accident at 7:07 p.m. Aug. 19 on Napoleon Zion Station Road. The drivers involved were Kimberly Code, 34, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Pontiac and William Crouse, 35, of Ft. Mitchell, driving a 1989 Ford.

Trooper Scott Allen investigated an accident at 10:22 p.m. Aug. 19 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Oma Slone, 77, of Crittenden, driving a 2007 Toyota.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Charles Weckbach, 33, of DeMossville, at 1:21 a.m. Aug. 20 on Center Ridge Road. Weckbach was lodged at the Campbell County Detention Center.

Sgt. Aaron Beighle investigated an accident at 2:49 p.m. Aug. 20 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were Tasha Kitchen, 29, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1993 Dodge, Jessica Mocahbee, 24, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Lincoln and Joyce Mann, 37, of Crittenden, driving a 2001 Chevrolet.

Trooper Tim Vinal investigated an accident at 10 a.m. Aug. 21 on S. Main Street. The drivers involved were Christopher Santos, 18, of Crittenden, driving a 2001 Nissan and Isaiah Gilbert, 31, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1996 Toyota.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 10:54 a.m. Aug. 21 on Ferguson Boulevard. The drivers involved were an unknown driver and Brenda C. Brewer, 61, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2006 Volkswagen.

Williamstown

Officer Ron Perkins executed a warrant for being a fugitive from the state of Ohio, for Christopher S. Collet, 34, of Dry Ridge, at 2:06 p.m. Aug. 18 on Barnes Road.

Officer David Osborne investigated an accident at 4:18 p.m. Aug. 20 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Roger A. Utz, 56, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Dodge and Michael W. Cliff, 53, of Williamstown, driving a 1995 Chevrolet.

The Williamstown Police Department an charged an out of county resident with alcohol intoxication in a public place, first and second offense and charged an out out county resident with disorderly conduct second degree.
