Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 12:19 p.m. Aug. 8 on KY 22. The drivers involved were Anna M. Mills, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Chevrolet and Charles Asher, 62, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1992 Ford.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a Harrison County warrant for Christoper L. Annis, 24, of Corinth. The arrest occurred at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 5 at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Brian Maines investigated an accident at 2:50 p.m. Aug. 6 on Knoxville Road. The drivers involved were William J. Morgan, Jr., 20, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1988 Plymouth and Eric R. Pickett, 23, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1990 Mitsubishi.

Deputy Lee Jacobs investigated an accident at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 on Ruark Road. The driver involved was Joanna Ulrich, 21, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Dodge.

Deputy Lee Jacobs charged William J. Lay, 30, of Corinth, with a probation violation at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 10 at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Kevin Burke investigated an accident at 6:08 p.m. Aug. 12 on Main Street in Crittenden. The drivers involved were Jerry Thinnes, 60, of Crittenden, driving a 1993 Ford and Sandra K. Frale, 46, of Taylor Mill, driving a 2004 Chevrolet.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Mischelle R. Mayme, 35, of Williamstown, at 4:25 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Swtizer executed a warrant for David M. Suire, 37, of Dry Ridge, at 4:25 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Mike Garvey charged Harold J. Begley, 21, of Corinth, with seven counts of theft by unlawful taking at 1:25 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Begley was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Kevin Burke charged Clint Glass, 25, of Williamstown, with non-payment of fines at 7:57 p.m. on Aug. 13 on Barley Circle. Glass was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Mike Garvey charged Harold J. Begley, 21, of Corinth, with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 14 at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed two Gallatin County warrants for David M. Suire, 37, of Dry Ridge, at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer charged Jackie A. Beatty, 30, of Corinth, with failure to pay fines at 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 on Main Street in Corinth. Beatty was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 80 summons/subpoenas, spent 15 hours serving in court, served one emergency protective order, investigated three accidents involving out-of-county residents and traveled 364 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Flem Patterson III, 21, of Williamstown, at 11:24 p.m. on Aug. 9.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Melissa Adams, 29, of Dry Ridge, at 3 a.m. on Elliston-Mount Zion Road. Adams was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police charged a 15-year-old juvenile from Dry Ridge with alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 11.

Kentucky State Police charged Matthew Toensmeyer, 22, of Demossville, with possession of a controlled substance at 5:53 p.m. on Aug. 11.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Lester T. Inabnit, Jr., 52, of Demossville, at 8:13 a.m. on Aug. 12.

Kentucky State Police charged Christopher Crittenden, 26, of Jonesville, with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance at 3:58 a.m. on Aug. 13. Crittenden was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police charged Kevin Puckett, 39, of Williamstown, with driving under the influence at 12:02 a.m. on Aug. 14. Puckett was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Chris Arnett investigated an accident at 4:27 p.m. on Aug. 9 on Hinton Webber Road. The driver involved was Jaimie Marshall, 23, of Corinth, driving a 2006 Ford.

Trooper Joshua Whitton investigated an accident at 1:04 p.m. on Aug. 11 on Knoxville-Gardnersville Road. The drivers involved were a 14-year-old juvenile driving a Yamaha ATV and Marion Bishop, 72, of Williamstown, driving a 1995 Subaru.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 6:29 p.m. on Aug. 14 on Owenton Road. The drivers involved were Matt Sampson, 33, of Crittenden, driving a 1996 Ford and George Scherder, 42, of Corinth, driving a 2003 Harley Davidson.

Trooper Scott Allen investigated an accident at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 15. The drivers involved were Victoria Jones, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2006 Honda and Porsche Morrow, 19, of Corinth, driving a 2001 Honda.

Williamstown

Officer David Osborne charged James W. Fryman III, 36, of Williamstown, with speeding at 3:48 p.m. on Aug. 7 on Lakeview Drive.

Officer David Osborne charged Diane Schwartz, 59, of Dry Ridge, with speeding on N. Main at 10:53 p.m. on Aug. 7.

Officer David Osborne charged Scott P. Helton, 27, of Williamstown, with no rear view mirror and no insurance at 3:41 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Assistant Chief Chris Hankins charged Cynthia L. Charles, 39, of Williamstown, with theft by unlawful taking at 8:45 a.m. on Aug. 11.

Sgt. Robert Reed charged Jeremy M. Chappell, 20, of Dry Ridge, and Duke A. Mitchell, 18, of Corinth, with theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief at 4:16 a.m. on Aug. 12 on Arbors Drive.

Assistant Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 7:39 a.m. on Aug. 12. The drivers involved were Vera H. Humphrey, 52, of Independence, driving a 2002 Chevrolet and Ashley L. Lakes, 21, of Corinth, driving a 2006 Ford.

Assistant Chief Chris Hankins executed a warrant for Jacob T. Baxter, 19, of Williamstown, for theft by unlawful taking at 3:56 p.m. on Aug. 14.

Officer Brian Flanagan charged Ron Valentine, 33, of Dry Ridge, with trespassing at 4 p.m. on Aug. 15 at Wal-Mart.

Officer Brian Flanagan charged Jennifer Valentine, 34, of Dry Ridge, with theft by unlawful taking at 4 p.m. on Aug. 15 at Wal-Mart.

Officer David Osborne investigated an accident at 7:20 p.m. on Aug. 15. The drivers involved were Brian Maines, 27, of Williamstown, driving a 2006 Ford and Terrence W. Sheets, 40, of Berry, driving a 2005 Hyudai.

Williamstown police also charged out of county residents with reckless driving, no operator’s license and failure to produce insurance card, as well as investigated an accident involving an out-of-county resident.
