Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident that occurred at 10:23 a.m. June 26 on KY 22. The drivers involved were Jewel R. Schulte, 75, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2009 Chevrolet and Diana Courtney, 40, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Ford.

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident that occurred at 1:27 p.m. June 29 on Blackburn Drive. The drivers involved were Amber B. Huth, 25, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2005 Chrysler and Donald Draper, 67, of Williamstown, driving a 1989 Chevrolet.

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident that occurred at 1:36 p.m. July 17 on Brentwood Drive. The drivers involved were Ruth M. Sheffield, 41, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2006 Ford and Rodger E. Ellis, Jr., 19, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Nissan.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Kevin Burke investigated an accident that occurred at 4:06 p.m. July 11 in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Eva F. Croy, 72, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1992 Chevrolet and Sharon F. White, 38, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Ford.

Deputy Andy Reeves investigated an accident that occurred at 1:11 p.m. July 13 on Crittenden-Mount Zion Road. The drivers involved were Daren L. Fryman, Jr., 17 of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Chevrolet and Robert W. Isaacs, 41, of Crittenden, driving a 2004 Ford.

Capt. Gary Humphrey executed a Boone County warrant on Arnola Warrington, 42, of Crittenden. The arrest occurred at 10:40 a.m. July 14 on Markim Drive. Warrington was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Mike Garvey executed a Grant County warrant for flagrant non-support for James R. Burdine, 26, of Dry Ridge. The arrest occurred at 1:42 p.m. July 15 on Jessica Lane. Burdine was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs charged David M. Suire, 37, of Dry Ridge, with flagrant non-support. The arrest occurred at 10 p.m. July 16 on Elliston-Mount Zion Road. Suire was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident that occurred at 7:24 a.m. July 17 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Colin J. McPherson, 18, of Williamstown, driving a 2002 Mercury.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident that occurred at 1:52 p.m. July 17 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Samuel Henderson, 60, of Indianapolis, Ind. driving a 2008 Dodge that struck a 2004 Freightliner (fire truck) owned by the City of Dry Ridge.

Deputy Lee Jacobs charged Lori M. Jones, 45, of Crittenden, with driving under the influence. The arrest occurred at 9:54 p.m. July 17 on Grantland Drive. Jones was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs charged Christopher P. Stone, 26, of Crittenden, with alcohol intoxication in a public place. The arrest occurred at 9:54 p.m. July 17 on Grantland Drive. Stone was lodged in the Grant Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 88 summons/subpoenas, spent 14 hours serving in court, investigated two accidents involving out-of-county residents, served four emergency protective orders, executed two warrants for out-of-county residents and traveled 600 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Demark Melander, 48, of Williamstown. The arrest occurred at 10:59 p.m. July 15 on Broadway.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for David McLane, 37, of Dry Ridge. The arrest occurred at 7:44 p.m. July 16 on Warsaw Road.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Eric West, 19, of Williamstown. The arrest occurred at 10:22 p.m. July 17 on Harlan Street.

Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident that occurred at 4:30 p.m. July 16 on Ferguson Blvd. The drivers involved were Maynard Stamper, 63, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Chevrolet and Elizabeth Lee Wyatt, 27, of Newport News, Va., driving a 1994 Ford.

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident that occurred at 1:44 p.m. July 17 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Pamela Quezada-Cruz, 27 of Dry Ridge, driving a 1996 Chevrolet and Donald Crouch, 56, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle.

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident that occurred at 1:11 p.m. July 18 on Knxoville Road. The drivers involved were Cory Adams, 19, of Williamstown, driving a 1983 Chevrolet and Johnny Messer II, 21, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2005 Toyota.

Trooper Steven Robb investigated an accident that occurred at 10:14 p.m. July 18 on Crittenden-Mount Zion Road. The drivers involved were Sharon Sims, 41, of Arlington Heights, Ill., driving a 2005 Saturn and Brian Richey, 47, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1996 Harley Davidson.

Trooper Scott Allen investigated an accident that occurred at 1:35 a.m. July 19 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Joseph Peace, 19, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1994 Toyota.

Williamstown

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident that occurred at 9:13 a.m. July 15 on Mill Street. The drivers involved were Robert E. Winans, Jr., 37, of Worthville, driving a 1992 Dodge and Joel K. Thompson, 35, of Berry, driving a 2004 Hyundai.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins charged Glenn A. Davis, Jr., 47, of Williamstown, with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and failure to produce insurance card. The arrest occurred at 5:53 p.m. July 16 on Hampshire Drive.

Officer David Osborne charged Raymond L. Martin, 25, of Williamstown, with speeding and failure to produce insurance card. The arrest occurred at 8:48 p.m. July 17 on Helton Street.

Officer Brian Flanagan investigated an accident that occurred at 10:14 p.m. July 17. The drivers involved were Tina Posadas, 46, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2005 Jeep and Leslie Jones, 22, of Williamstown, driving a 2000 Chevrolet.

Williamstown police also investigated one accident and issued one charge for fourth degree assault involving out of county residents.
