Dry Ridge
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 2:54 p.m. May 28 on Ferguson Boulevard. The drivers involved were Ashley R. David, 19, of DeMossville, driving a 2005 Toyota and Rosie P. Baker, 52, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Toyota.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 11:34 a.m. June 9 on the Dry Ridge bypass. The drivers involved were Pamela J. Cain, 30, of Walton, driving a 2003 Ford and Rebecca P. Ruff, 56, of Williamstown, driving a 2008 Honda.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 3:47 p.m. June 10 on U.S. 25 Connector Road. The driver involved was Brenda S. Allen, 57, of Williamstown, driving a 2007 Toyota.
Grant County Sheriff's Office
Deputy Brian Maines investigated an accident at 9:56 p.m. June 4 on Warsaw Road. The driver involved was Wendy J. Lane, 41, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2010 General Motors.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 6:40 p.m. June 4 on Broadway. The drivers involved were a juvenile, 16, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Ford and a parked 1995 Hyundai owned by a juvenile, 16, of Walton.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 1:22 p.m. June 5 on S. Main Street, Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Chad Beach, 27, of Williamstown, driving a 1998 Honda and Miranda R. Mayer, 25, of DeMossville, driving a 1999 Toyota.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 1:48 p.m. June 5 on Spears Lane. The drivers involved were a juvenile, 17, of Independence, driving a 1995 Ford and Caleb Kinmon, 19, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2006 Chevrolet.
Deputy Brian Maines charged Sherry B. Ross, 46, of Dry Ridge, with theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) at 6 p.m. June 5 on Ferguson Boulevard. Ross was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Kevin Burke charged Anthony C. Hall, 24, of Crittenden, with alcohol intoxication in a public place at 2:19 a.m. June 7 on Menefee Road. Hall was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad charged Shannon N. Brown, 31, of Williamstown, with failure to pay fines at 7:17 p.m. June 7 on Cherry Grove Road. Brown was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad charged Santiago Ramirez, 30, of Dry Ridge, with failure to pay fines at 6:30 p.m. June 7 on Barnes Road. Ramirez was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad charged Rebecca A. Mosley, 29, of Williamstown, with assault fourth degree at 10:24 p.m. June 8 on Mason Sipple Road. Mosley was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Grant County Sheriff’s deputy investigated an accident at 1:24 p.m. June 8 on Lawrenceville Road. The driver involved was Tiffany R. Leggs, 19, of Corinth, driving a 1984 Chevrolet and a parked 1986 Ford owned by Joan Flachs of Corinth.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 4:54 p.m. June 8 on Lawrenceville Road. The driver involved was Rita Brewsaugh, 67 of Corinth, driving a 2006 Chrysler.
Deputy Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 10:45 a.m. June 9 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Janet R. Faulkner, 55, of Williamstown, driving a 1997 Dodge.
Deputy Kevin Burke charged Farris Sandlin, 44, of Dry Ridge, with nonpayment of fines at 1:07 a.m. June 9 on High Street, Williamstown. Farris was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Bobby Webb executed a warrant for Shawn W. Mardis, 38, of Corinth, for possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle under the influence at 2:15 p.m. June 9 on Barnes Road. Mardis was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Terry Osborne executed a Boone County warrant for Christopher B. Fugate, 21, of Dry Ridge, at 10:50 a.m. June 10 on Warsaw Road. Fugate was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office served 72 summons/subpoenas, served 49 hours in court, served eight emergency protective orders, investigated seven accidents involving out of county residents, executed five arrests/warrants for out of county residents and traveled 1,074 miles transporting prisoners.
Kentucky State Police
Trooper Mark Grisik investigated an accident at 7 a.m. June 4. The driver involved was a juvenile, 17, of Demossville, driving a 1986 Toyota.
Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 6:10 p.m. June 6 on Charlotte Heights. The driver involved was Sean Edmondson, 21, of Crittenden, driving a 1998 Dodge.
Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 10:21 a.m. June 7. The driver involved was Robert Schadler, 41, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2003 Chevrolet.
Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 9:41 p.m. June 7. The driver involved was Kevin Lawrence, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Dodge and Heidi Tien, 39, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Chevrolet.
Kentucky State Police charged Kevin Lawrence, 18, of Dry Ridge, with operating on a suspended operator’s license at 10 p.m. June 7 on Taft Highway.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Shannon Ford, 34, of Williamstown, at 12:21 p.m. June 8 on Barnes Road. Ford was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Williamstown
Officer David Osborne charged Rodney W. Beeler, 29, of Crittenden, with expired registration and expired operators license at 2:13 a.m. June 4 on Interstate 75.
Officer David Osborne charged Julie M. Shaul, 40, of Williamstown, with alcohol intoxication, first offense at 9:09 p.m. June 6 on James Street.
Office Ron Perkins charged Amber O. Simkins, 48, of Dry Ridge, with disregarding a traffic light, failure to maintain required insurance, second offense, failure to register the transfer of a motor vehicle and improper display of registration plates at 10:53 p.m. June 9 on Broadway.
Officer David Osborne charged Taos Brent Bryan, 34, of Dry Ridge, with assault fourth degree at 7:50 p.m. June 12 on Redwood Drive.
Williamstown police investigated three accident involving an out of county resident; executed a warrant for one out of county resident and wrote citations to four out of county residents.
