Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells charged William Boothroyd, 30, of Dry Ridge with possession of marijuana and trafficking marijuana at 1:47 p.m. June 4. Boothroyd was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Chief Rick Kells charged Brian Keth Rippons, 32, of Dry Ridge with assault in the fourth degree at 8:10 a.m. June 5.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 3:35 p.m. May 28 on Fashion Ridge Road in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Wanda J. Samford, 73, of Dry Ridge driving a 2003 Lexus and Kelly Walker, 28, of Dry Ridge driving a 1990 Chevrolet.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Harold E. Abney, 45, of Dry Ridge at 3 p.m. May 30. Abney was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Bob A. Lawson, 29, of Crittenden at 3 p.m. May 30. Lawson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs charged Samuel J. Baker, 22, of Crittenden with burglary in the second degree and possession of burglary tools at 4:48 p.m. May 30. Baker was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer charged Douglas S. Isbel, 31, of Corinth with improper registration plates, operating on a suspended license and no insurance at 1:50 p.m. June 3. Isbel was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Glenna R. Kiskaden, 25, of Crittenden at 9:15 p.m. June 3. Kiskaden was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Phillip W. Shepperd, 44, of Crittenden at 6:30 p.m. June 4.

The sheriff’s office served 62 summons/subpoenas, spent 11.5 hours serving in court, served two emergency protective orders, made three arrests or executed warrants involving out-of-county residents, investigated two accidents involving out-of-county residents and traveled 764 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

State police charged Anthony E. Marshall, 44, of Crittenden with disregarding a stop sign, driving while under the influence and no insurance at 2:51 p.m. May 31.

State police charged Holly Croy, 26, of Williamstown with alcohol intoxication at 2:28 p.m. June 1. Croy was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident at 4:45 p.m. June 2 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were a juvenile, 17, of Dry Ridge driving a 1994 Ford, Burl Allen, 52, of Dry Ridge driving a 1997 Ford and Sabrina Johnson, 18, of Dry Ridge driving a 2003 Chevrolet.

State police executed a warrant for Jamison Clark, 31, of Crittenden at 9:26 a.m. June 4.

State police executed a warrant for Janet Stamper, 51, of Dry Ridge at 10:17 a.m. June 4.

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 2:03 p.m. June 4 on Ferguson Boulevard. The drivers involved were a juvenile, 16, of Crittenden driving a 1997 Plymouth and Regina S. Jennings, 49, of Berry driving a 1998 Ford.

Williamstown

Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident at 4:58 p.m. June 1 on North Main Street in Williamstown. The driver involved was Michael F. Packard, 38, of Williamstown driving a 1998 Nissan that struck a parked 2008 Ford owned by Richard D. Poe.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at noon June 3 on Humes Ridge Road in Williamstown. The driver involved was Todd A. Carl, 19, of Williamstown driving a 1996 Chevrolet that struck a trailer.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins charged Megan R. McKinley, 24, of Dry Ridge with possession of marijuana at 1:45 p.m. June 4. McKinley was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins executed a warrant for Danielle S. Ratay, 29, of Dry Ridge at 2:33 p.m. June 4.
