Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 2:42 p.m. May 12 on Arnie Risen Boulevard. The driver involved was John E. Haney, 50, of Corinth, driving a 2006 Dodge, which hit a parked 2007 school bus.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 2:33 p.m. May 3 on S. Main Street, Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Morgan S. Denison, 20, of Walton, driving a 2006 Chevrolet and Mary G. Angell, 84, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1996 Toyota.

Deputy Lee Jacobs investigated an accident at 7:50 a.m. May 5 on Arnie Risen Boulevard. The driver involved was Katherine C. Adkins, 40, of Georgetown, driving a 1998 Honda and a parked 2004 Chevrolet owned by Melissa D. Colson, of Dry Ridge.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 4:45 p.m. May 5 on S. Main Street, Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Sherry L. Coldiron, 31, of Crittenden, driving a 2007 Toyota and Valerie H. Fulks, 43, of Crittenden, driving a 2001 Nissan.

Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 3:02 p.m. May 7 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were Susan M. Hollar, 35, of Crittenden, driving a 1993 Chevrolet and Stacey Beatty, 32, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Pontiac.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 3:36 p.m. May 7 on Ferguson Boulevard. The drivers involved were Donavon R. Marston, 20, of Williamstown, driving a 2002 Nissan and Lorene K. Garvey, 47, of Owenton, driving a 2008 Chevrolet.

Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Ronreaco A. Wiliams, 20, of Crittenden, for nonpayment of fines at 2:52 a.m. May 10 on Harlan Street.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Jeffrey K. Jones, Jr., 30, of Dry Ridge, for probation violation at 2:20 p.m. May 11 on Barnes Road. Jones was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for Derrick R. Rose, 24 of Williamstown, for receiving stolen property over $500 at 10:20 p.m. May 11 on Barnes Road. Rose was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer charged Andre Kinman, 19, of Crittenden, with alcohol intoxication in a public place and theft by unlawful taking (firearm) at 7:45 p.m. May 13 on Markim Drive. Kinman was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 111 summons/subpoenas, served 45 hours in court, served two emergency protective orders, investigated two accidents involving out of county residents, executed six arrests/warrants for out of county residents and traveled 343 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 9:46 a.m. May 11 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Stacey Jackson, 23, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2008 Ford.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Billy Epling, 28, of DeMossville, at 11:33 p.m. May 11 on Taft Highway. Epling was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police executed a three warrants for Kelly Lynn Pichotta, 36, of Dry Ridge, at 12:39 p.m. May 12 on Lemon Northcutt Road. Pichotta was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police charged Laurel Kenney, Jr., 56, of Dry Ridge, for following too closely, careless driving, failure to produce insurance card and driving under the influence, second offense at 3:24 p.m. May 13 on Interstate 75.

Kentucky State Police charged Dustin Uhrig, 40, of Berry, with wanton endangerment, first offense at 8:05 p.m. May 14 on Northcutt Lane.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 3:52 p.m. May 14 on Violet Road. The driver involved was an unknown driver and a parked 2009 Toyota owned by Rita Johnting of Crittenden.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 5:50 p.m. May 14 on Broadway. The drivers involved were Cody Daughtry, of Berry, driving a 1998 Chevrolet and Wyatt Morrow, of Crittenden, driving a 1994 Dodge.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Denise Abney, 23, at 7:19 p.m. May 15 on Spears Lane.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Bryan Plunkett, 22, at 7:19 p.m. May 15 on Spears Lane.

Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Michael Stamper, 24, at 7:19 p.m. May 15 on Spears Lane.

Trooper Mctavish McDonald investigated an accident at 10:44 a.m. May 16 on Taft Highway. The drivers involved were Gary Conrad, 61 of Dry Ridge, driving a 1996 Buick and Richard Gaines, 63, of Indianapolis, Ind., driving a 2007 Saturn.

Trooper Douglas Carter investigated an accident at 7:21 p.m. May 16 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Brandon Childress, 28, of Moscow, Ohio, driving a 1997 Pontiac and Charles Sponcil, 59, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2004 Chrysler.

Williamstown

Sgt. Robert Reed executed a warrant for Derrick R. Rose, 24, of Williamstown, for receiving stolen property under $10,000 at 4:33 a.m. May 8 on Barnes Road.

Officer Brian Flanagan investigated an accident at 4:02 a.m. May 10 on Judith Street. The drivers involved were Jessica Nutt, 31, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1997 Jeep and Karen R. Pinales, 40, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2003 Chevrolet.

Officer David Osborne charged Danielle Chischilly-Harper, 31, of Crittenden with speeding 23 mph over the limit at 8:04 p.m. May 10 on Humes Ridge Road.

Officer David Osborne charged Allison Mortenson, 50, of Williamstown, with speeding 19 mph over the limit at 7:36 p.m. May 10 on Humes Ridge Road.

Officer David Osborne charged Michelle L. Hall, 38, of Williamstown, with speeding 26 mph over the limit at 4:19 p.m. May 10 on Humes Ridge Road.

Officer David Osborne charged Ryan Wilson, 25, of Williamstown, with speeding 16 mph over the limit at 4:02 p.m. May 10 on Humes Ridge Road.

Officer David Osborne charged Ericka R. Campbell, 29, of Williamstown, with speeding 18 mph over the limit and failure to maintain required insurance at 3:30 p.m. May 10 on Humes Ridge Road.

Officer David Osborne charged Jordan R. Strong, 18, of Dry Ridge with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500 at 4:35 p.m. May 13 at Midway Plaza.

Chief Al Rich investigated an accident at 6:12 p.m. May 11 on S. Main Street. The driver involved was Pamela F. Abney, 57, of Corinth, driving a 2003 Saturn.

Williamstown Police Department investigated one accident involving an out of county resident.
