Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Lee Jacobs investigated an accident at 4:30 p.m.  March 22 on Hillside Drive in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Nathan S. Dixon, 21, of Dry Ridge driving a 1989 Dodge that struck a mobile home.

Deputy Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 1:44 p.m. March 27 on Main Street in Crittenden. The drivers involved were Charles W. Benge, 61, of Crittenden driving a 1997 Chevrolet and Leanna R. Fields, 27, of Crittenden driving a 2001 Ford.

Deputy Mike Garvey executed a warrant for Russell A. Davis, 32, of Crittenden at 9 a.m.  March 30. Davis was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Tara L. Fight, 37, of Dry Ridge at 4:45 p.m.  April 1. Fight was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Joey T. Montgomery, 33, of Williamstown at 4:50 p.m.  April 1. Montgomery was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Donnie L. Osborne, 23, of Crittenden at 4:53 p.m.  April 1. Osborne was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for John C. Pennington, 28, of Dry Ridge at 8:03 p.m.  April 3. Pennington was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 62 summons/subpoenas, spent 6.5 hours serving in court, served one emergency protective order served, investigated one accident involving an out-of-county resident, made three arrests or executed warrants involving out-of-county residents and traveled 794 miles transporting prisoners.


Kentucky State Police

State police executed a warrant for Brandon Abney, 18, of Dry Ridge at 10:47 p.m. March 30. Abney was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

State police executed a warrant for Tessa Nickell, 26, of Crittenden at 1:49 a.m.  April 1. Nickell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Mctavish McDonald investigated an accident at 3:30 a.m. April 2 on Gardnersville Road. The driver involved was Melena Raines, 25, of Corinth driving a 1996 Plymouth.

Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident at 7:07 p.m. April 2 on Broadway Street in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Tip Inman, 66, of Georgetown driving a 2007 Chevrolet and Lennis King, 70, of Williamstown driving a 2001 Kia. 

State police charged Bryant Compton, 47, of Dry Ridge with alcohol intoxication at 5:31 p.m. on April 3.

Trooper Delzie Kelly investigated an accident at 10:27 a.m. April 4 on Blackburn Lane. The drivers involved were Wilma K. Colson, 79, of Corinth driving a 2006 Buick and Robert Arnold, 78, of Dry Ridge driving a 1993 Pontiac. 

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 11:23 a.m. April 4 on North Main Street in Crittenden. The drivers involved were Jessica Bishop, 23, of Corinth driving a 2000 Kia and Arriest Hoskins, 37, of Crittenden driving a 1994 Ford.

State police charged Billy J. Abney, 48, of Dry Ridge with alcohol intoxication in a public place at 10:02 p.m.  April 5.

Trooper Steven Robb investigated an accident at 6:46 p.m.  April 5. The driver involved was Michelle Stephens, 37, of Berry driving a 1993 Dodge.

Sgt. Brian Bowling investigated an accident at 3:33 p.m. April 6 on Broadway Street. The drivers involved were Andrea Workman, 27, of Dry Ridge driving a 1993 Ford and Fred Scroggins, 36, of Jonesville driving a 2004 Ford. 

State police charged David McLane, 37, of Dry Ridge with disorderly conduct at 10:16 a.m. April 6 McLane was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.


Williamstown

Chief Bobby Webb executed a warrant for Tara L. Fight, 37, of Dry Ridge at 5:45 p.m.  March 25. 

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 4:30 a.m. April 1 on Paris Street in Williamstown. The driver involved was Joseph D. Northcutt, 18, of Cold Springs driving a 1995 Chevrolet that struck a parked 1990 Nissan owned by Henry A. Perkins.

Officer David Osborne charged Todd A. Carl, Jr., 19, of Williamstown with speeding 10 mph over the limit at 5:04 p.m.  April 1.

Officer David Osborne charge a 16-year-old juvenile with speeding 20 mph over the limit and failure to produce insurance card at 7:01 p.m.  April 1.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 11:25 a.m. April 2 on Arnie Risen Boulevard. The drivers involved was Noah Combs, 83, of Williamstown driving a 1998 Ford and Nancy G. Wethington, 61, of Demossville driving a 2004 Chevrolet.

Officer Ron Perkins charged Todd A. Carl, Jr., 19, of Williamstown with speeding 10 mph over the limit at 6:55 a.m. April 4.
