Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 9:39 a.m. on Feb. 19 on Dry Ridge-Mount Zion Road. The driver involved was Mary T. Walters, 50, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2009 Dodge Ram.

Chief Rick Kells charged Robert D. Deusenberry, 38, of Crittenden with assault at 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 19. Deusenberry was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

 

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 9:55 a.m. on Feb. 13 on Lebanon Road. The drivers involved were Ellen Masters, 59, of Cincinnati, driving a 2001 Toyota and Ricky L. Brazier, 38, of Crittenden driving a 2001 Dodge.

Deputy Lee Jacobs charged Christopher W. Caldwell, 36, of Dry Ridge, with failure to appear in court, at 4:40 p.m. on Feb. 15 on Chetalou Drive. Caldwell was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs and Sheriff Chuck Dills charged Michael W. Hare, 45, of Williamstown, with criminal coercion and harassing communications at 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 18. Hare posted bond at the courthouse.

Deputy Lee Jacobs charged Shelly L. Pelton, 38, of Crittenden, with a probation violation at 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 18 in Crittenden. Pelton was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Brian Maines executed four warrants for Roy E. Stephens, 53, of Corinth at 11:52 p.m. on Feb. 18. Stephens was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Andy Reeves charged Ronald D. Kinman II, 28, of Williamstown, with contempt of court at 7:09 a.m. on Feb. 20. Kinman was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 86 summons/subpoenas, spent 14 hours serving in court, served two emergency protective orders, made four arrests or executed warrants and investigated three accidents involving out-of-county residents and traveled 488 miles transporting prisoners.

 

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Eric Bowman investigated an accident at 11:44 a.m. on Feb. 14 on Broadway in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Matthew Edwards, 25, of Williamstown, driving a 1996 Chevrolet.

Trooper McTavish McDonald investigated an accident at 2:13 p.m. on Feb. 15 on Gardnersville Road. The drivers involved were Pamela Huffman, 48, of Crittenden, driving a 2004 Ford and Michael Shuler, 20, of Owenton, driving a 1988 Ford.

Trooper McTavish McDonald investigated an accident at 5:05 p.m. on Feb. 16 on Lemon Northcutt Road. The driver was a 16-year-old juvenile driving a 1996 Lincoln.

Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident at 8:05 a.m. on Feb. 16 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Richard Staley, 37, of Crittenden, driving a 1996 Oldsmobile that struck a parked 2008 Chevrolet.

Kentucky State Police charged Gregory Spivey, 59, Williamstown with two counts of rape at 12:43 a.m. on Feb. 17. Spivey was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Mark Grisik investigated an accident at 8:10 a.m. on Feb. 19 on Hwy. 22. The drivers involved were Tanya Hanser, of Falmouth, driving a 2005 Chevrolet and Carlos Lopez, of Williamstown, driving a 1990 Ford.

Trooper Jeremy Moore investigated an accident at 5:58 p.m. on Feb. 21 on Warsaw Avenue. The drivers involved were Johanna Webb, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1994 Ford and Helen Fightmaster, 77, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2001 Toyota.

 

Williamstown

Officer David Osborne charged John M. Scott, 18, of Dry Ridge, with no tail lights and failure to produce insurance card. At 10:37 p.m. on Feb. 13 on Arnie Risen Boulevard.

Officer David Osborne charged Rita B. Hyatt, 67, of Dry Ridge, with speeding at 9:33 p.m. on Feb. 13 on Arnie Risen Boulevard.

Officer David Osborne charged Charles C. Goin, 28. of Dry Ridge, with speeding at 9:23 p.m. on Feb. 14 on Arnie Risen Boulevard.

Officer Ron Perkins executed a bench warrant for Sonya E. Johnston, 28, of Williamstown at 7:43 p.m. on Feb. 17. Johnston was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.

David Osborne charged Timothy D. Scott, 19, of Dry Ridge, with speeding, no operator’s license, failure to maintain insurance and improper equipment at 10:05 p.m. on Feb. 14.

Officer David Osborne investigated an accident which occurred at 9 p.m. on Feb. 21 on Taft Highway The drivers involved were Amanda Ridenour, 19, of Williamstown, driving a 2006 Hyundai and Karen Spurlock, 21, of Corinth, driving a 2000 Mercury. Spurlock was later charged with no registration plates and no registration receipt.

Williamstown Police Department charged three out-of-county residents for reckless driving, operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure to produce insurance card and speeding and executed a bench warrant for one out of county resident.
