Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells executed a warrant for Jesse L. Jarvis, 22, of Dry Ridge at 1 p.m. on Dec. 17. Jarvis was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 5:03 p.m. on Dec. 9 on Dry Ridge-Mount Zion Road in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Rachel Allison, 22, of Corinth driving a 1997 Chevrolet that struck a fence.

Deputy Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 8:50 p.m. on Dec. 11 on Interstate 75 in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Jeremy L. Royalty, 25, of Dry Ridge driving a 2002 Ford that struck a deer.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 3:10 p.m. on Dec. 15 on North Main Street in Crittenden. The drivers involved were Ted H. Wyan, 65, of Crittenden driving a 2004 Chevrolet and Jessica L. Nunn, 25, of Dry Ridge driving a 1997 Pontiac.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident at 11:06 a.m. on Dec. 16 on Keefer Road in Corinth. The driver involved was Virginia A. Shaw, 56, of Corinth driving a 1999 Chevrolet that ran off the roadway.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident at 1:21 p.m. on Dec. 16 on Interstate 75 in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Neal J. Ventura, 55, of Corinth driving a 2003 Ford and Terry W. Keck, 54, of Knoxville, Tenn. driving a 2008 Mack.

Deputy Neal Ventura executed a warrant for Anthony C. Hall, 22, of Crittenden at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 17. Hall was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Brian Maines executed a warrant for Shelly Smith, 22, of Corinth at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 17. Smith was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Andy Reeves executed a warrant for Jesse L. Jarvis, 22, of Dry Ridge at 10:49 a.m. on Dec. 18. Jarvis was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident at 6:10 a.m. on Dec. 18 on Warsaw Road in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Jessica N. Plunkett, 19, of Dry Ridge driving a 2001 Oldsmobile that struck a horse.

Deputy Terry Osborne executed a warrant for James R. Purnell, 20, of Dry Ridge at 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 19. Purnell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office served 70 summons/subpoenas, spent 21 hours serving in court, served two emergency protective order, investigated two accidents involving out-of-county residents, made two arrests or executed warrants for out-of-county residents and traveled 626 miles transporting prisoners.

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Scott Allen investigated an accident at 11:40 p.m. on Dec. 15 on Elliston Napoleon Road. The drivers involved were Donald Cook, 26, of Dry Ridge driving a 1985 Chevrolet. Cook struck an unoccupied 1993 Ford.

State Police charged Colin McPherson, 18, of Williamstown with public intoxication and possession of an alcoholic beverage at 2:43 a.m. on Dec. 18.

State Police charged Jonathan Sharp, 18, of Crittenden with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change at 2:39 a.m. on Dec. 18.

State Police charged Jeanie H. Sharp, 43, of Crittenden with failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change and driving under the influence at 2:38 a.m. on Dec. 18.

State Police charged Bobby Xayakone, 25, of Dry Ridge with improper start and driving under the influence at 6:51 a.m. on Dec. 20.

Trooper Scott Allen investigated an accident at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 20 on Crittenden-Mount Zion Road. The drivers involved were Linda Jackson, 52, of Dry Ridge driving a 2007 Toyota and Steven Cummins, 33, of Dry Ridge driving a 2003 Pontiac.

Trooper Delzie Kelly investigated an accident at 2:29 p.m. on Dec. 21 on Greenville Road. The driver involved was Howard S. Froelicher, Jr., 63, of Dry Ridge driving a 1992 Ford that struck an electric pole.

Williamstown

Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident at 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 16 on Blanche Avenue in Williamstown. The driver involved was Danielle N. Akins, 17, of Williamstown driving a 2000 Mitsubishi that struck a parked 2007 Saturn owned by Matthew Lunsford.

Asst. Chief Chris Hankins investigated an accident at 8:25 p.m. on Dec. 16 on Interstate 75. The drivers involved were Dorothy A. Likens, 78, of Pametto, Fla driving a 2007 Buick and Ronald L. Perkins, 40, of Williamstown driving a 2006 Ford.
