Dry Ridge

Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 3:31 p.m. on Dec. 8 on Warsaw Road in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Eleanor M. Ebner, 17, of Dry Ridge driving a 2005 Pontiac.

 

Dry Ridge Police charged an out-of-county resident with theft by unlawful taking.

 

 

Grant County Sheriff's Office

Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 7:18 p.m. on Dec. 2 on Broadway in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Silver O. Jackson, 25, of Corinth driving a 2005 Jeep.

Capt. Gary Humphrey investigated an accident at 8:15 a.m. on Dec. 6 on Lemon Northcutt Road in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Robert B. Kennedy, 51, of Crescent Springs that struck two parked cars owned by William Clem of Dry Ridge.

Deputy Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 3 p.m. on Dec. 6 on B.C. Cotton Drive in Dry Ridge. The driver involved was Barbara B. Owens, 71, of Dry Ridge driving a 2002 Chevrolet that struck a guardrail.

Deputy Lee Jacobs investigated an accident at 10 a.m. on Dec. 8 on Gouge Drive in Dry Ridge. The driver was unknown that struck a 2000 Ford owned by Sammie J. Kinman of Dry Ridge.

Sgt. Dennis Switzer investigated an accident at 3:42 p.m. on Dec. 8 on Interstate 75 in Williamstown. The drivers involved were Jessica A. Hurst, 24, of Corinth driving a 1995 Pontiac and Francisco Aguilar, 37, of Elkhart, Ind. driving a 2006 Kenworth.

Deputy Terry Osborne charged Terry R. Noel, 48, of Crittenden with violation of a domestic violence order at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 9. Noel was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Brian Maines investigated an accident at 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 9 on Violet Road in Crittenden. The drivers involved were Tina L. Helmer, 33, of Crittenden driving a 2002 Ford and Trista A. Hopper, 23, of Crittenden driving a 2003 Toyota.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Donald J. Manning, 32, of Dry Ridge at 8 p.m. on Dec. 11. Manning was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Christopher R. Manning, 21, of Dry Ridge at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11. Manning was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Capt. Gary Humphrey executed a warrant for Harold Spoonamore, 40, of Dry Ridge at 12:15 p.m. on Dec. 12. Spoonamore was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy John Money executed a warrant for Stanley E. Parker, 42, of Dry Ridge at 9 a.m. on Dec. 13. Parker was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Jessica L. Neaves, 20, of Dry Ridge at 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 13. 

Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a warrant for Garney L. Rose, 37, of Crittenden at 3 p.m. on Dec. 13. Rose was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

 

The sheriff’s office served 96 summons/subpoenas, spent 11.5 hours serving in court, served two emergency protective order, investigated six accidents involving out-of-county residents and  traveled 150 miles transporting prisoners.

 

 

Kentucky State Police

Trooper Delzie Kelly investigated an accident at 12:31 p.m. on Dec. 9 on Napoleon Zion Station Road. The driver involved was James Rhodes, 79, of Dry Ridge driving a 1994 Jeep.

State Police charged Timothy Richie, 20, of Dry Ridge with no seat belt, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 4:21 p.m. on Dec. 10. Richie was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Trooper Jeremy Moore investigated an accident at 4:59 p.m. on Dec. 11 on Taft Highway in Dry Ridge. The drivers involved were Julie Moore, 26, of Dry Ridge driving a 2008 Ford and Brandie Bowling, 22, of Lexington driving a 1995 Ford.

State Police charged William Claypool, 60, of Berry with driving under the influence, failure to produce insurance card, possession of an open container and no registration receipt at 3:42 a.m. on Dec. 12. Claypool was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

State Police charged Jonathan Jackson, 31, of Berry with no seat belt, no insurance, suspended operator’s license and failure to surrender suspended operator’s license at 10:02 a.m. on Dec. 12.

State Police charged Jessica Neaves, 20, of Dry Ridge with no seat belt, suspend operator’s license and no insurance at 9:52 a.m. on Dec. 13.

 

Williamstown

Officer Ron Perkins charged Roscoe Robinson, 78, of Williamstown with assault in the fourth degree at 5:33 p.m. on Dec. 10.

Officer Ron Perkins charged Geneva S. Spenneberg, 78, of Dry Ridge with failure of owner to maintain required insurance at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 10. 

Officer Ron Perkins investigated an accident at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 on North Main Street in Williamstown. The drivers involved were Geneva S. Spenneberg, 78, of Dry Ridge driving a 1996 Saturn and Ralph A. Howell, 44, of Williamstown driving a 2001 Jeep.

Chief Bobby Webb investigated an accident at 7:19 a.m. on Dec. 11 on Jonesville Road in Williamstown. The driver involved was Ricky J. Bosse, 37, of Dry Ridge driving a 2004 Chevrolet that struck a deer.

Chief Bobby Webb charged Jeffery W. Wooton, 19, of Dry Ridge with theft by unlawful taking at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 11.

Sgt. Robert Reed investigated an accident at 10:29 p.m. on Dec. 11 on Cordova Road in Williamstown. The driver involved was Scott C. Jones, 27, of Williamstown driving a 2008 Ford that struck a deer.

Officer Brian Flanagan investigated an accident at 6:25 p.m. on Dec. 13 on Jonesville Road. The drivers involved were Tina C. Jump, 35, of Corinth driving a 2008 Chevrolet and Julius Claypool, 54, of Williamstown driving a 1989 of Chevrolet.

Officer Brian Flanagan charged Angela Martin, 38, of Berry with expired tags at 10 p.m. on Dec. 13.
