Dry Ridge
Chief Rick Kells charged Shane E. Howell, 18, with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4 on Ferguson Boulevard. Howell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 12:13 p.m. Oct. 5 on Broadway. The driver involved was Jill C. Skaggs, 52, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2004 Toyota.
Grant County
Deputy Lee Jacobs investigated an accident at 9:50 p.m. Oct. 1 on Warsaw Road. The driver involved was Richard K. Penick, 50, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Dodge and a parked 2009 Toyota owned by Darlene Ammer of Dry Ridge.
Sgt. Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 8:45 a.m. Oct. 4 on Dixie Highway. The drivers involved were Cinnamon A. Mahoney, 33, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Pontiac and Charlotte G. Baker, 40, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2004 Chevrolet.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant, for theft by unlawful taking over $500, for Wyatt Morrow, 18, of Crittenden, at 12:36 a.m. Oct. 5 on Harlan Street. Morrow was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright investigated an accident at 4:59 p.m. Oct. 5 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Brittyne Hodge, 20, of Crittenden, driving a 1993 Toyota.
Sgt. Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 7:29 a.m. Oct. 5 on Barnes Road. The drivers involved were Joseph A. Myers, 46, of Falmouth, driving a 1993 Chevrolet and Paula B. Jones, 57, of Williamstown, driving a 1994 Toyota.
Deputy Kevin Burke executed a warrant for, failure to appear in court, for Larry S. Ackerman, 39, of Williamstown, at 1:50 a.m. Oct. 5 on Shiloh Road.
Sgt. Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 6:02 a.m. Oct. 7 on Lebanon Road. The drivers involved were Candice Simpkins, 56, of Crittenden, driving a 2007 Toyota and Travis S. Thornberry, 33, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2000 Oldsmobile.
St. Terry Osborne investigated an accident at 12:48 p.m. Oct. 7 on Dry Ridge Road. The drivers involved were Octavila Ramir, 32, of Covington, driving a 2001 Oldsmobile and Kevin D. Robinson, 24, of Williamstown, driving a 2001 Oldsmobile.
The sheriff’s office served 96 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, served one emergency protective order, executed five arrests/warrants for out of county residents and drove 352 miles transporting prisoners.
Kentucky State Police
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Walter R. Furnish, 29, of Dry Ridge, at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 26 on Golds Valley Road. Furnish was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Brian Hester, 31, of Williamstown, with obstructed windshield, operating on a suspended license, failure to produce an insurance card, open alcohol container and possession of marijuana at 4:12 p.m. Sept. 26 on Bypass Road.
Trooper Chad Mills investigated an accident at 5:41 p.m. Sept. 27 on Broadway. The drivers involved were Benjamin Montgomery, 42, of Burlington, driving a 2004 Honda and Nicholas Owings, 24, of Crittenden, driving a 1998 Chevrolet.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Bianca Brooks, of Williamstown, at 8:02 a.m. Sept. 27 on Barnes Road. Brooks was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Timmy Phelps, 26, with trafficking a controlled substance at 6:11 p.m. Sept. 27 on Dixie Highway.
Kentucky State Police charged Jennifer Evans, 28, with assault fourth degree at 7:37 p.m. Sept. 28 on Meadow View Circle.
Kentucky State Police charged Jerry McDaniel, 32, with assault fourth degree at 7:37 p.m. Sept. 28 on Meadow View Circle.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Robert Taylor, 26, at 9:58 p.m. Sept. 28 on Barnes Road.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Chad Pigg, 21, of Berry, at 10:14 p.m. Oct. 1 on Interstate 75. Pigg was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Scott Allen investigated an accident at 6:17 p.m. Oct. 1 on I-75. The driver involved were Brandon Fleming, 18, of Crittenden, driving a 2010 Toyota. He was charged with driving under the influence under 21, possession of alcohol by a minor and open containers in vehicle. Fleming was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Joshua Whitton investigated an accident at 7:55 p.m. Oct. 1 on Taft Highway. The driver involved was Daniel Clemons, 40, of Williamstown, driving a 2004 Ford.
Kentucky State Police charged Cynthia Smith, 47, with a fugitive from another state at 11:21 p.m. Oct. 1 on Center Ridge Road. Smith was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged John Carrara, 22, of Williamstown, with driving under the influence, reckless driving and wanton endangerment second degree at 10:52 a.m. Oct. 6 on Violet Road. Carrara was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Justin Thomas, 30, of Crittenden, with alcohol intoxication at 10:52 a.m. Oct. 6 on Violet Road. Thomas was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, for Bobby G. Kiskaden, Jr., 43, of Corinth, at 1:36 p.m. Oct. 7 on Main Street. Kiskaden was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Deborah Dalton, 48, of Crittenden, with driving under the influence, careless driving and no seatbelt at 11:08 p.m. Oct. 7 on Violet Road. Dalton was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Michael Roberts, 28, of Crittenden, with driving under the influence third degree, giving a false name to an officer and operating under a suspended license at 5:27 p.m. Oct. 8 on Violet Road.
Williamstown
Sgt. Robert Reed executed a bench warrant, for nonpayment of fines, for William J. Ohmer, Jr., 29, of Williamstown at 3:21 a.m. Sept. 9 on Barnes Road. Ohmer was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Williamstown Police Department investigated one accident involving out of county residents, charged an out of county resident with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence first offense and failure to produce an insurance card and charged an out of county resident with speeding 26 mph over the limit.
