Many of us are proud of our family members who have served in the military and now there’s a good way to honor their service and do something good in the community.
Storme Vanover, a local veteran, and members of the American Legion Post 137 in Williamstown are selling brick pavers to fund a monument to the five local men who died serving in Vietnam.
Their goal is to raise money for a memorial to be constructed at the legion hall on U.S. 25 in Williamstown.
Members of the post will be selling memorial pavers for $50 during the month of June.
