Calling all Grant Countians who care about the future of their community!
Here’s your chance to speak up.
The Grant County News and Grant County Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring a “Meet the Candidates” Night at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21 at Williamstown High School.
Candidates for judge-executive, jailer, coroner, magistrate, mayor and city council will be answering questions that you think are important.
So here’s your chance to let the Grant County News staff know what you want the candidates to be asked.
Are you concerned about the economy or would you like more recreational opportunities in the community or are our roads, sewers and waterlines adequate?
Those elected on Nov. 2 will lead our county and cities for the next several years. Decisions they make impact our daily lives, so it’s important to know what the public wants to know.
The News staff wants to know what you want to know and what is important to you.
While questions are not taken from the audience the night of the forum, every question sent to the News office will be given consideration.
Questions can be sent to: Grant County News, P.O. Box 247, Williamstown, Ky. 41097 or dropped off at 129 S. Main, Suite B in Dry Ridge or e-mailed to email@example.com.
Questions must be received by 5 p.m. on Oct. 15.
Remember if you don’t ask - they can’t give an answer.
