Nickells GCMS Incredible Inca Student of the Week

Kennedy Nickells has been selected as the GCMS Eighth Grade Incredible Inca Student of the Week. She invests time and energy in all her classes to be successful and possesses the admirable traits of cooperation, determination and dedication, which earned her this award. She doesn’t settle for less than her best.

Nickells is an active member of the GCMS choir, which earned a distinguished rating at the Kentucky Music Educators Association festival this year. She also traveled with the high school choir to Washington D.C.

In her free time, it is not surprising to see her playing the piano or the guitar since music is important to her. She also likes to write and thoroughly enjoys redecorating.

Upon graduation from high school, she hopes to attend the University of Kentucky to pursue a career in education. Her dream is to teach language arts in the middle grades.
